#147How about Locky starting the next BELLATOR event thread on this forum??? It goes down at the end of this week!!! I give betpoints to event starters... Only 2 bitch points though, I'm a cheap bastard!!! Lol...
Professional Fighters League (PFL) is a global powerhouse in MMA and the fastest-growing sports league world-wide. PFL is the only in MMA with the "win and advance" format. PFL is broadcast and stream...
A couple of good fights on this card and I hope there will be value when the odds come out!!! . I know most of these fighters and am ready to break it down town Charlie Brown...
Anyone??? Bueller, Bueller.....

On the 20th October, I will be entering my training base for the South Korean Army.
As some of you already know, South Korea requires all men of this country to train as a soldier in the army for a two year period. It is a compulsory step in life and I have finally been called to serve my time as a trainee.
After a month's training at the base, I will be working at the city hall. Usually, after a month of training, men get dispersed around numerous army bases in South Korea for two years of intense training however, due to my shoulder injury, I have been granted to work at the City Hall instead with normal working hours.
I wanted to fight at least once more before being called in however our government are not permitting me to do so anymore.
I am relieved at the fact that I can serve my time, train and work on my recovery at the same time.
Up until recently, I was afraid of that two year gap however I'm looking at it in a positive spirit.
Since I've already been to the top, I believe the second time round would be easier.
That day my shoulder is completely healed, I shall not be defeated by anyone.
The only unfortunate thing is the fact that I have to step away from the opportunity for the championship right now.
McGregor was an opponent I wanted to fight as much as I wanted to with Aldo. I am disappointed of missing this opportunity due to the current situation I am in.
However, the requirements of the government needs to be fulfilled thus I will not blame anyone or my country for this reason. I will return after two years of serving my country.
I apologize for not being able to enter the army base despite being a fighter. I believe there will be people out there hating..however I still want your support.
There's so many things I want to say since I will not be able to compete for another two years..
I was concerned that some people around the world do not have an understanding of how the Korean army service works so it was difficult for me to bring this out so I rely on those that do to explain on my behalf.
I was told that UFC will be waiting for my return, and that Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta both felt great pity regarding the current situation I am in.
I especially want to give thanks to the UFC and Dana White for acknowledging me as a professional fighter after the fight I had with Aldo.
For the following two years, I will only focus on getting my shoulder to the perfect condition as well as training my ten fighters of KOREAN ZOMBIE MMA.
Do wait and be excited for the return of THE KOREAN ZOMBIE and look forward to seeing new fighters of KOREAN ZOMBIE MMA in the fields.
Thank you for all your support, I will be back in no time.

#153^^Korean Zombie sounds like a good dude.. Best that he serves the 2 years to heal up that shoulder injury anyways.. As an after thought - he's probably lucky that he didn't get to face Aldo or McGregor because he would have gotten used if ya ask me...Comment -

#157"I remember one day Dana called me up, and I picked up the phone: ‘Hey Dana, how are you doing?' Obviously back then, and even still a little now, you’re star-struck. It’s the president of the UFC, and he calls me up and he says, ‘Michael, I know you’re not fighting until December. How are you doing for money?’ And, of course, I’m a man; I have pride. So, you know, I lied. I said, ‘Yeah, yeah. I’m doing OK.’ The reality was I was flat broke and we couldn’t even afford to put gas in the car, or petrol as we English call it. Dana said, ‘Shut up. I know you’ve got to be struggling. I’m going to send you a check.’ I was like, ‘Oh, alright. Cool.’ I didn’t think anything of it. … All of a sudden, through the mail, about a week later, a check for $10,000. I was like, ‘Oh my God.’

#164He lives in Britain though, doesn't he? They probably treat him as an independent contractor and require them to deal with his taxes himself. I would imagine all US fighters are treated the same as well, otherwise you'd probably hear things about them filing for unemployment after being cut and whatnot.Comment -

Moving to the US is something I expect to see out of almost every top European prospect who reaches a high level; regardless of what McGregor thinks, elite training camps breed elite talent. Except for Nova Uniao, they produce elite talent while being a pretty mediocre camp.Comment -
