Haha what do these fighters expect when these random apparel companies keep being created then disappear a few months later! How would a company like Fear the Fighter even make any profits by having somebody like Akira Corassani wearing his shirt?

Sponsorships are a joke. Do you think anyone bought an Xbox because one of the most boring men in MMA, Mighty Mouse, is associated with them? Better yet, you think anyone bought the new UFC game so that they could play as Mighty Mouse and coast to 25-min decisions in their spare time?

they were started during the early days though werent they before there was any competition, plus the founders/owners had links to MMA already. But even both of them have declined in last couple years. You dont see many fighters wearing TapOut now do you? I recall dan hardy being very critical of them a year or 2 ago after Authentics Brand Group purchased them.
A couple have had a period of success like "One More Round", "Venom" and "HeadRush" but then faded. Dethrone is most recent one that is still doing well, and have likes of Conor Mcgregor

King Mo would of been easy money.

Former UFC fighter Tom DeBlass suffered a gruesome cut while training, and as a result is out of his Bellator 131 bout against King Mo, and by the looks of things according to his Tweet, may not fight again.

DeBlass apologized to King Mo for having to withdraw from their bout in an extended Tweet:

@kingmofh sometimes life throws unexpected things our way. Accidental headbutt did just that two weeks before my fight with @kingMofh this cut is deep and bad. This cut is taking me out of the fight with Mo. As soon as it’s touched in the fight it will bust open. I know so many of you wanted to see this so I apologize, and I felt so great ,as we know injuries happen in MMA and we fighters take the worst of it. Regarding Mo, we already spoke and he’s one of the most respectful guys I’ve talked too. We already spoke of training together when I’m healed. As far as MMA is concerned I’ll never say never, but I can say right now I’m focusing on competing Jiu-Jitsu and improving my Academy. I have no plans to fight right now. Thank you to my manager Danny Liguori for everything and Bellator for being so awesome, you may see me back in there one day. But for now let’s win some more Jiu-Jitsu title

DeBlass also Tweeted several pictures of the cut to King Mo.

Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva was apparently hospitalized on Monday.

The 39-year-old fighter went to the hospital yesterday following a workout in Rio de Janeiro, this according to Brazilian news site Combate.

Silva was admitted due to back pain but was ultimately released from the hospital shortly after, according to Ivan Raupp. The Brazilian MMA reporter said Silva also felt numbness in his legs (via Twitter), which prompted the hospital trip.

The good news is that the injury will not postpone “The Spiders” octagon return, which is set for January 31 in the main event of UFC 183 opposite former Strikeforce title holder Nick Diaz.

Silva has been out of action since December of 2013, after he suffered a broken leg in his rematch to current middleweight champ Chris Weidman.
