The play was Lauzon via Sub @ +240. Real value there. Mac already has one foot out of the door. At this point in his life Mac is more interested in taking Ayahuasca & shooting photographs for art shows.

I would easily play danzig +3,5 points handicap. I doubt that lauzon can win this 29-28 or better on all thre judges scorecards. He may submit danzig but i doubt it. I see more value in the handicap rather than betting danzig straigt or decision.

No it shouldn't. Downswings are meaningless, either you have the roll to bet it or you don't. Losing yesterday doesn't change what happens today.

The right thing to do is whatever you initially intended. If you thought, "OMG, look at this value, I better max it" Then you should let it ride. If you thought, "I'm going to bet larger than I'm comfortable with because I know the line will move later and I can arb it" then that's what you should do. But if your original plan was A, don't throw it away on B now.
