Yeah, just like in that Magalhaes fight. There was no way he was making it out of the first round with a striker as dangerous as Perosh. Perosh should have been -900.

He had a tiny value play on Edwards at +220 against a guy who has fought pretty much no one and has never won a fight that went past the first round. Easy to say that he was completely wrong after the fact.

What you must understand is that in MD's world there is value in all dogs. It does not matter to him if the dog has a snow balls chance in hell of winning. He just closes his eyes & swings for the fences. If his dog loses then variance is always to blame. And when he loses well it was only a "small medium" bet anyway.

Um... Well yes. You see that's how pattern recognition skills work. You are able to see how events will unfold ahead of time. When you know who will win ahead of time making an ALL IN bet is quite easy to understand.

BTW, I was with you heavy on GSP...and benefitted from that blatantly-bad decision.

GSP may have won the decision (and thus we won the ML bet on him)...but, he clearly lost the fight.

I'm not complaining, just stating fact...funny thing is that one of the last few times i felt "ripped off" by a crap decision was when Hendricks unfairly got the nod over Condit (cuz the judges thought they were counting takedowns...and not assessing damage)...the other one that stands out in my mind where the judges got it backwards was Davis "over" Machida...but in these two fights you could make a plausible case for the decision...but GSP (one of my favorite fighters and the one i had money on last night) clearly was the loser of this fight...and you'd have to stoop to shameless levels of self-serving bullshit to make a case for the official result being correct
