#38I will have to agree with alternative 1. Okami wont submit or KO Alan Belcher. Its more likely that Alan Belcher will KO Okami if the fight ends by KO. I dont think either fighter is capable to submit the other unless anything very weird happens.Comment -

#39Belcher almost got submitted by Patrick Cote and only got out because Cote made an amateur mistake from the top. His TDD is...sub-par, Okami could definitely get the sub or TKO if I can get Okami ITD at more than +350 I'd grab it.Comment -

#47I'd have to watch that fight but I thought it was more of Belcher letting Cote advance to an armbar position knowing that he could use it to end up on top (which he did).Comment -

#48Well last time belcher met Okami it went to a decision. Okami didnt hurt Belcher if i remember correctly, but he controlled him. This is 6 years ago. Who do you think has developed the most? And do you really think belcher will get finished by a man he seeks revenge to? It may happen, but its like....not happening at all. And most rematches ends with 1-1 (based on observation). Okami is a bit chinny, but belcher....belcher has a foooocking good chin. So crassus, reconsider this Okami ITD <-- its bullshit.Comment -

#49I'd be really surprised if Belcher gets finished....obviously it could happen...he's only been outside of the 1st round once since July 2009 and not past 3rd round in any of those 4 fights. Maybe he gasses and Okami finishes him but Belcher has never really had cardio issues and he is a lot more scientific with how he trains and cuts weight now. And I agree with BJ, since their last fight over 6 years ago I believe Belcher has evolved more as a fighter is probably reaching his peak now whilst I'd lean towards thinking that Okami is perhaps at the start of a decline. Okami by decision is probably still the most likely scenario though. One thing with Belcher that concerns me is that he doesnt have the highest level of sparring partners during majority of his camp in Biloxi...seems to be a big fish in a small pond out there. He flew out to Milwaukee to train with Askren and co last week but that is only 2 weeks max of camp spent with them.Comment -

Some re-assuring things in this interview...Belcher talks about being in great shape and having brought guys in like an elite wrestler that he hasnt shown on the blog...
Mike Bohn of MMAmania.com talks to UFC middleweight contender Alan Belcher about his the string of injuries that have plagued his career in recent years, his rematch with Yushin Okami at UFC 155 and his desire to fight more often in 2013.

#57Is Rick the guy making the picks in the vid? If so no I'm not. I'm much more attractive and knowledgeable about mma.
Poirier did look pretty sloppy out of the gate. Was shocked Brookins was so open to slugging it out with him for a bit there. Dustin's talent got him through tho.Comment -
