#3Ever since that halving crap normal fees have risen. The wallet I use sends with a $6 fee now to send it priority. Even with that fee it took an hour and a half for 1 confirmation. Bitcoin is becoming more useless than before. Everyone thought the halving would raise the price of bitcoin. All it did was raise the fees. Complete garbage product it's becoming. Pretty soon it will be cheaper and quicker to send with the old money transfer places.Last edited by themike78; 05-23-20, 05:34 AM.Comment -

#4I had one transaction that was not priority that had been stuck 5 or 6 days up until last night. Last night I sent $500. It was suggested I use a $9 fee, I checked current backlogs etc and adjusted the fee to 90 cents, it went through within 10 mins, and pushed the backlogged transaction through with it too.
I check here to see what the backlogs look like and what kind of fee should get accepted before I send.
I'm not sure why more person to person transactions are not done with altcoins with much lower fees and much faster confirmations. If both sides are going to buy send and then cash-out anyway, it should not matter if the send is in Bitcoin or Stellar or Ethereum, its just moving money.Comment -
