#1025hey pacocn, i know ur US-res...do you do all of ur betting with a local...or do you use an online book. Reason i ask is that i just opened an ac at SportInteraction (located/licensed in Canada, and very friendly to US-res clients)...and just noticed very nice line-shopping advantages with it...most of their lines (20-cent or more) are crappy on both sides of a play...but there are always a few way out of whack lines that are SO out of whack (on one side of a play) that you either get a windfall bargain on the play you're shopping for OR...they make you consider taking the opposite side of what you're shopping for solely because the line has flipped the value on that game way over to the OTHER side....
Bodog has a reputation for being square and out of whack with Pinny...but i find SIA is even better in creating isolated "sore thumb" windfall-value plays.Comment -

#1026Fit, I go with a local and I also have a 5 dimes account. I like to book my plays early so
5 dimes has been a good option. They also have reduced juice plays which i like alot. I
have been happy with them thus far. Thanks, PacComment -

#1033That's a good combo u got there...5d is a sharp book, like Pinny...if u wanna see exactly what i'm talkin' about, just go to SBR's "live odds" (3rd link from the left at the very top of THIS page)...you'll find SIA's odds right next to 5d's odds (on the right side)...just slide your finger down the column and you'll see 5d's odds are generally better, often MUCH better than SIA's crappy 20-cent lines...BUT there'll always be an exception or two, where SIA's odds are better (sometimes MUCH better) on one side of the play than the sharp (more "correct") 5d odds...leading to occasional multi-point windfall-opportunities on your line-shopping...
when SIA is "off" the Pinny/5d lead, they tend to be the most "off" of all the books...all i'm saying is keep an eye out for SIA's odds cuz i've noticed that every week i get at least on real windfall "bargoon" over what i'm lookin' for when i'm tailing you...if you just eyeball the divergence for a while, i think u might wanna pop a few bucks in SIA to capitalize whenever these cases do arise...
no need to change anything ur doin...sharp books are your bread n butter...but having a square book like SIA handy "on the side" just adds the ability to get a bit of "special sauce" for free when it's available on a play you'd be buying anyhow...(I remember that LTA has mentioned several time how he operates with his trusted locals for most of his deals BUT keeps his square book{=Bodog for him** handy for when their line-shading suits his purpose...and I've recently noticed that SIA is an even better "square" option)...
NOT tellin' u what to do, bro'...just offered it up as "one beggar telling another where to get a good meal"...especially thot i owed u a "heads up" on it cuz i discovered the windfalls generally shopping for YOUR plays, which as you know i'm very appreciatively tailing...

ok, on the "live odds" page...clik "settings" (if the book logos stand upright as vertical rectangles it'll be the whole row above the book names...if the book logos are lying horizontal, then "settings" will be the last selection on the right of the row above the book logos)...anyhow, find and clik the option to modify settings...
now the good stuff...it come up in the "general" tab...you have the choice to present the games in the order of rotation # or (more practical imo) by start time...also time zone, etc...oh yeah, and an important choice you can specify on this tab is which book is used to determine the "opening" prices (for you, definitely choose 5d here)
next...clik the tab "book order" and you are now free to drag the book-logo babies around to whatever you like...in your case i'd definitely put 5dimes/"Sports Interaction" as your (sharp/square) 1/2 punch...after that however you like...you might wanna put in SBR sportsbook next as a separator in the three spot before you put in your 4/5 hitters in the same sharp/square order (Pinnacle/Bodog, the ones LTA use for his line-analysis would work nicely here...)...generally the sharp prices will be better...but there'll always be some "sore thumbs" sticking up where the square prices are better...and it's really nice if this occurs on a play you were interested in independently
next up is the third and final tab, "Themes"...here u have a choice between Classic (that's the one with the vertical "standing" logo-boxes) and Default (that's the one with the horizontal or "reclining" logo-boxes)...look at 'em both...I personally prefer the Default config...
___________
Glad you asked me that, cuz now i understand the odds-comparison format and how to control it much betterComment -

I was talking more about my personal pick rather than yours.
I was just saying after my little big loss on them, I just want to stick away from any Cubs or Mets games.Comment -
