Yes. Cubs lost and other two won. 5* on each so thats a profit of 12ish? and then you had to of lost two of the parlays, bringing you to a profit of 6*. The Oak+Sea parlay netted you 24* off of 3*? Rough math there but seems funky...

Go back and do the numbers from Sunday July 8th through Wednesday July 18th and see what you get. He's says its -49. (355- 306)

This has got to be the most classless, non real gamblers in all of SBR forum.
It is very obvious to me that there is a large group of trolls who run around this site looking to berate and make fun of others who are struggling in a game where the best in the world have a 5% edge.

Lets call it what it is.. A disaster of a season 350 or 3500 units who the hell cares? Get a life already. If you dont have anything positive, advise or can relate to what John is goubg through you have never attempted to build, maintain and gone through that everyday struggle otherwise you'd learn to be humble and humility is the largest lesson all successful gamblers gain through years of experience.

The guy is doing something that no one I know in this business would be willing to do. He is in a downswing, fade him or accept his challenge like I did. Coming in here everyday to kick a man while he is down is horrible. It is terrible and everyone of the haters who come in here daily and pick apart a man going through a terrible stretch..what are you doing with your life?

Are you serious guy?! You do realize that this is PUBLIC thread right? and creating a thread such as this is going to attract criticism. If this man was a stock trader offering advise (fyi- it isn't much different) he would be recieving FAR worse criticism than he is here. John is well aware of this and is a grown man that doesn't need some internet Rambo fighting his battles.

I've never bashed this John here for his results. I've called him out on his score keeping. As he should be. If it's deliberate, it's dishonest. And Coming from a poker player?? if you knew a guy having a brutal month and witnessed him pulling some crap at the table you would say "let it be, he's having a rough go"?? I dont think so.

Yes I'm a card player and that's why this effected me to the point where I wanted to post, something I rarely do. If a guy loses in my main game (20-40 lhe at the B or 15-30 o8 at the V lately) one night he may brush it off and get right back in the saddle and everything is fine.
However if that guy (it has been me before both online and live) goes on a month or two downswing where everything he tries backfires and you see that man daily struggling just to be himself you dont walk directly up to him and say, "wow you suck man, you're the worst haha" and if he does have the humility to sit at the table and say to people man I dumped again last night, I'm down 30k in the last however weeks. Do you really think that anyone at the table would really have the ineptitude and cruelty to say no man you are down 33k you are forgetting 2 tuesdays ago when you thought you had the nuts, oh man you are such a liar.

There's a difference in criticizing record keeping in certain cases such as with backing players in spots or looking at equity chops in Big bet games etc but this is just a guy gibing you what he bet, he plays the games gives you what he likes and then you tear him apart but the point of this thread is for those who dont bet normally to learn something. The lesson that has been told in this thread inadavertadily I may add is in that should help more poeple than the ones that just have pretty records and units up, down. This sports isnt easy to bet and win, no matter how much past success one has had their will be times where a win feels great again because it;s been so long since it had happened last. I have played 4 million hands of online o8 and made quite a bit of money I do not ever remember out of all those hands where I got super lucky and went weeks avoiding variance of any kind.. I can tell you in 4 minutes what the worst 5 bad beats were. I had checks that I d forget I even had one month, 6 months later I'd have a backer with makeup.
This is a very hard life win or lose you have to remain human and appreciate the effort of a guy who comes here daily and gives you his hard WORK opinion. If you have ever been close to broke, had to borrow money to stay in action, took on a backer and knew all along you were a advantage player.. You wouldnt criticize anyone who;s been in that similar spot.

I simply came to see if JR would accept my college football contest offer as I enjoy his analyzation and I feel I grew slightly because of his constant insight from his model as a man who has never had success with models i find it fascinating. Everytime i come here there's the humble John making jokes about his performance and churning out plays that are later laughed at and constant discrepencies over game that no one actually lose money on tailing I'd guess.

I think he;s a stand up guy, Im not defending him other than enough is enough. Either say something positive, share your own luck good or bad, accept his challenges, or fade him but do it silently. wow. Thanks for all of the support.. Means a lot to me... and it does put it into complete perspective and the one I try to live by and follow each day I am on the right side of the turf.

I've done this sort of thing a long time. I treat each day like a shot in a round of golf. Some will be bad, some will be horrendous, and some will be solid and some will surprise the heck of you they are so special. That is what I saw this past weekend in the British Open. The best take it one day at a time and whether the previous shot (day) was great, break-even, or a horrid one, it does NOT impact them in what matters most right now.

Philosophical it is. No doubt, but I can assure you with 100% accuracy that if you choose to live your life facing forward it will turn out some very good days and whole lot more better days than bitter ones.

I am still baffled by the trade for Ichiro? Was this giving a vet a chance to get a ring or was there some sort of strategy behind it... I fail to see how this makes them a better hitting team overall. Certainly makes them better defensively, but can he transition that quickly to left field? It is a different animal than playing in right.. angles are different..

KUDOS and Congrats to you my man! 15 in a row is an awesome accomplishment. Not many people have ever experienced the thrill and great feeling of accomplishment in winning 15 in a row. It does show that you can win at MLB as much as I have not shown that this year. Hats off to you! Keep taking it one day at a time and one play at a time and who knows where this could stop. AWESOME!

20* and 10* plays have been a large part of the reason why these plays have done so poorly. The 3* parlays alway shit very low percentages, but produce net profits over the course of the season. Even they are under water. But, clearly the 10* plays need an abrupt turnaround. I never think that things are DUE to turn around. And never, especially with your own handicapping work, decide to double up after a poor weekend.

I was thinking though in a very sarcastic manner, that maybe I could find some people to bet that I could actually fall off a camel and not hit sand because I sure as heck can't hit 10 and 20* plays right now. Eyes forward.

Hey dont worry about it man. Iam rich, I just want to watch the game and put a little money on it to make it fun to watch. Beside all that i dont want to look at the wall all day doing notting. Put a little money on it and the game is a whole lot better to watch.
