All kidding aside, I do like the play a good deal....decided tonight to finally try to take advantage of the 5Dimes overnight lines which I seem to beat the closer on more than not. Still, playing it cautious and going small for the time being. GL if you go large on it NoCo

My little guy got a ton of antibiotics and is starting to feel better. I don't have to worry about work until 6am. I really appreciate everyone's well wishes. I'm having a beer, feeling good and loving this under so I am rolling that way for 3x. Good luck.

          This game is u/o 7.5???

Also good to hear your son is okay. At that age when they get a high fever they get Lifeless and is can be worrisome.

Ump Schrieber should help this play imo. He's got one of the stingiest strike zones and while Lee has pinpoint control, wildness continues to be Romero's bugaboo.

Ruiz is out for the Phillies so that depletes their offense even more. GL with the play but just wanted to let you know in case you didn't know.

Looks like a probable buy out in Cleveland. High chance of rain and wind blowing out pretty strong.

Nothing is more important than the health of your family...NOTHING! I am relieved to read your son is doing better. The fact that we are virtually all strangers at SBR means little, but the common denominator of the understanding of having a sick child bridges us together which I think is really uplifting. All too often people trash one another for what, a lost bet? In comparison, it's not even close. LTA, you are a great contributor to this site and let all the well wishers (including myself) be a sign we appreciate you.

I wish you continued success and a full recovery for your son.

I leaned AZ the last 2 days as underdogs, but didn't pull the trigger. Definitely like them again, can it be 3 days in a row? I like the value of Colorado, now down to +142. Will Cliff Lee ever win a game? In the Pitt/Cle game, I like the Pirates at +122 instead of the under. I was also leaning over in the Angels/DBacks, but missed the move to 8.5. Good luck with your plays.

I hear you. Unreal these under losses in the 9th when the team that scores is leading by a lot or the team that has no chance is trying to save face.

Wow, brutal start. Lost connection here for a while with a big storm. Phillies up 5-2 in 8th, and Pirate game lost in the ninth. Colorado was always a speculative play and had the closer beat. Very frustrating indeed.

Not recommending a tail here, but gonna increase my stakes on the S.F. Game. Probably a bit of chase here, but I feel confident that even a limping Lincecum, and a hot Giants team, is better than Millwood who is coming off a groin injury. Gonna try and get a little more value here and go with the -1 RL at +121. GL fellas, and if anyone was tailing the Phil's and Pirates game, I feel your pain.

I agree Red FWIW...here is a write-up from someone I respect. Not nearly as detailed as you and LTA with advance stats but he comes to the same conclusion. GL

                                                    ****

The Mariners lost again last night. They’ve now lost six straight, all at home and during that stretch they’ve been outscored 32-13 while hitting a combined .212. The Giants have hit .274 over their past six games and will now face Kevin Millwood. Millwood is a 10-year veteran and is certainly pitching better this year than he has in recent seasons but at the age of 37, it’s unwise to expect it to last. He was a non-roster invitee to the M’s and barely made the team out of spring training. Millwood is just 1-2 at Safeco with a 5.47 ERA. Tim Lincecum has all the skills to dominate a lineup and could get hot at any time. He has 77 K’s in 72 innings but has been hurt hard by a poor strand rate and too many walks. On the positive side, his groundball//line-drive/fly-ball splits are fine and along with his xERA, all numbers still attest to a very good 27-year-old starting pitcher who should see better results coming months. It's just that the walks and low strand rate have at least temporarily dinged his once-unquestioned ace status. Lincecum spotting a small number against Millwood and the reeling Mariners is a high percentage play.

Yea, that didn't exactly work out as planned. I just hate Billingsly. But even more clear is that something is really wrong with Lincecum. He is so young to have fallen off so dramatically.
