Doesn't the ump that was 1B ump the game before become HP ump the next game?

yes, mlb.com updates the umps an hour before first pitch. espn.com doesnt do it as quickly...maybe 5-10 min before..

but once a series starts, you will know the next days ump b/c they are at first 1B the prior game...

last night h. wendlestedt showed as the 1B ump, but tonight Layne is behind the plate according to MLB and ESPN....i hope thats accurate.

new plan starting monday with A4......going to do 3u per play. with 7 umps, i just dont feel comfortable making 5u plays on all these games. i would rather keep my heavy bets on A1, A2 and A3 which i will do 6u per game.
