Yesterday the Rockies got some runs off a shaky left-hander, but today they meet a monster righty. Dempster is the first half of my parlay.
-Cubs are 8-0 in Dempster's last eight home starts.
-Dempster is 6-0 at home with a 2.84 ERA. In day games he's 4-0 with a 1.95 ERA!
-Cubs' available bullpen has a combined 2.88 ERA.
-Cubs are hitting .341 vs lefties (Rusch) at home.
-Rusch was let go by the Padres. What does that tell you?
-Rusch will not fool the Cubs, he played for them in 2006 and 2005 and he was mediocre then and worse now.
-Cubs are 24-8 at home and have won five in a row. Rockies have lost five in a row.
Phillies are steamrolling anything in their path, and today that will be Nolasco.
-Cole Hamels is 3-0 in his last three starts with a 2.70 ERA. His home ERA is 2.23 and night ERA is 2.43.
-Nolasco is 4.26 on the road, and 5.65 in night games.
-Phillies are averaging 8.3 runs per game in their last 10 games. Not sure if I have seen that before.

Thanks, partner. I tried some new things capping-wise and needed this big card because I wanted to see how they would work. In the end, this axiom continues to hold true: don't fade good home teams even against strong competition. TB and Toronto looked great on paper today, but in the ballpark home cooking won the day.
