    Saturday May 3

    Play #1:

    Pittsburgh Bucs 1st 5 innings

Opponents' OBP againt Maholm in daytime games this year is only .200. Maholm has only allowed 2 runs in 15 innings in his last two starts. Nats are hitting .227 vs lefties. Maholm should roll.

Chico didn't get through the 4th inning in his last two starts. Pirates have scored 26 runs in their last three games. Nats have scored 13.

    $380 to win $330

Nice pick on the Dodgers St.

Looked real ugly for us early on.

Woke up too late to get the $ down on Pitt but good luck.

Me too... I think I've got one coming, still working on it. But first, this isn't over. Chico can easily get blown up in a hurry.

5-4 Nats top 5th. Men at corners, 1 out. Hopefully, at worst we're looking at a push.

What a rally for a push, nearly a win if Maholm could have hit a blooper or something.

                        2nd Play, May 3

Dodgers are hitting .311 vs lefties and are outscoring Rocks by an astronomical margin in the last 10 games. De La Rosa is going to get a rude welcome back to the majors. Last year with KC his ERA was 5.82. He has been impressive in AAA this year, but the Dodgers will have a surprise waiting for him. NL West grudge match, and Torre has the Dodgers dialed-in right now (8-2 in last 10). Rocks again without Tutilowizki and 2-8 in their last 10.

Loaiza just beat the Rocks a few days ago. LA Bullpen is impressive.

                        Dodgers +108

                        Betting $380

In 1999 I spent three weeks in Trondheim and also stayed in the town of Hell for a couple of days. Loved Norway.

Cool Trondheim is the greatest/nicest city in Norway... I would love too move there if I don't move to Philly soon. Hate their soccer team tho. They are the arch rival of my team, Molde

Thanks Mr Lock, hopefully you're killing it in Vegas. If you really want to slum it, I mean be a total degenerate, go hang out in the book at El Cortez. Those are my kind of people, some are homeless and pretending to gamble so they don't get kicked out, others are betting their paychecks on the ponies, all are chain-smoking and need new clothes. I have always loved the hard-luck, common gambler and these are my people. I just soak up the atmosphere in there.

                                    Sunday May 4

                                    Play #1:

                                    Toronto/CWS under 8
Even without Halladay and Contreras on the mound, these two teams are only averaging a collective 6 RUNS PER GAME in their last 10 games. These two sharp throwers make that stat even more powerful. Halladay will go deep into the game. Toronto doesn't have the offense to hurt Contreras. Rogers Centre is an under factory. The under on the ump Mike Estabrook is 2-0. Under is 16-5 in TOR last 21 overall.

                                    $570 to win $495

                                    Play #2:

The under in Lincecum's games is 4-1. Philly is only batting .242 vs righties in their last 10 games. Opponents' OBP against Hamels at home is only .248. The total average runs given up by these two teams when Lincecum and Hamels are on the mound totals to 5: SFO 2 Philly 3. The total average runs scored by these two teams in their last 10 games is 7.6. With these two pitchers on the mound, the total will be well under that average. The under in umpire James Hoye's games is 6-2!

Tonight Steve Trachsel is matched up against Joe Saunders in Anaheim and this is a mismatch. Trachsel was impressive early, but the old-timer has returned to form with a .483 OBP in his last three starts. He has struggled to get out of the third inning in his last three. Saunders has been lights-out at home with a HOME / NIGHT OBP of only .198!! The Angels are outscoring Baltimore, are 6-4 in their last 10, have the better bullpen, and are gunning to win the series today. LAA are 9-3 in Saunders' last 12 home starts. BAL are 4-11 in the last 15 meetings.

PARLAY: SFO UNDER 7.5 / ANGELS ML

                                    $495 to win $946

1-1 so far with no gain or loss. That is unacceptable.

                                            Added Late Play

Cubs and Cards will put some runs on the board tonight. Both teams are hitting exactly .300 vs righties in their last 10 games. There are home run hitters all over the field tonight. Right now the conditions in St Louis are clear, warm and calm at 70. I'm seeing some loose hitting and contact throughout the game. Wellemeyer has given up 1 HR every six innings this year, and Marquis has given up three. Wellemeyer is going to get taken deep. Marquis's away OBP in night games is a horrible .440. Let the good times roll!

ST LOUIS / CUBS Over 8.5

                                              1-2 Sunday

The Cubs under was a heartbreaker, but I have lost so many games by a nut this year that it's nothing new.

-140 juice is the max I'm generally willing to pay, and that's what I got for this play.

Brian Bannister is in his element at home in K-Stadium. This year he hasn't allowed more than 2 runs at home, and that is the same trend from last year. Banny is an analytical pitcher who learns from mistakes. He has been roughed up on the road recently, which makes him my pick for the redemption play at home.

The kid Adenhart is not ready for the majors, but here he is. In his only other start a few days ago, he walked 5 batters in two innings. The Royals are disciplined bunch who will take the free walks if they are being handed out. Small-ball galore, as the Royals pick the kid apart. His lack of control was exactly as predicted in his scouting report from Sporting News.

                                                Royals First Five -140

                                                  Wednesday May 7

                                                  1. Pittsburgh is averaging 6.6 runs per game in their last 10 games, and tonight they are facing Zito. Guess what is going to happen.

                                                  2. Lee vs Wang + two teams who score few runs = under 8

                                                  3. At Kauffman Stadium in KC, an under is assured. That is St Andrew theorem #3.

                                                  4. St Louis is fiery hot and have their ace on the mound. Colorado is in the deep freeze.

                                                      I got 8. Not sure if I would've taken 7.5. Probably would've though.
