Team Dynamics/Club Character
It's of course early in the season - but a developing trend with this year's Cubs is that they appear to be pretty resilient. The first 8 times they have lost this year - they've bounced back to win the next one 7 times. They have only lost back to back games once so far. Is Quade turning around the club's traditional, soft, "lovable losers" mentality? Time will tell. Today they're coming off their 9th loss of the year - having dropped the 2nd game of Wednesday's double header vs SD.

Fatigue Factor
The Cubs are also coming off a home stand day off yesterday (the best kind) - whereas the Dodgers are playing today for the 15th day in a row - with still 5 more to go in a brutal stretch of 20 without an off day - and they're doing so after flying to Chicago last night following a hard fought 12 inning game (W) over the Braves.

As 5's said, fig - the Cubs/Dodgers are a no play on this thread.

I simply said 'food for thought' - a couple of intangibles that look positive for the Cubs (not to mention the overall team turmoil re the LA ownership situation). But you could also consider that Billingsley looked great vs Cards Sunday in his last outing - 8 scoreless innings and 11 Ks - his best of the year.

That's what the forum should be about, fig - thinking for oneself can be a good thing.

Iam seeking to joining this mafia, any vacancies for a tower opening in central florida? My resume is as follows: Been Capping football and hockey for past 5 years, off and on, but then about 3 years ago I Found it most profitable to Cap Baseball and Football...Ive spent most of my hours researching cappers picks and how vegas reacts to the public. Last 2 years off and on during the MLB season I would document cappers on this forum, EOG, cappersmall and Predictem, and basically start the day off with my picks, then match them up with the highest profiting cappers at the time, and confirm bets thru trends/matchups on covers.com....It was a profitable 08-09 season but I only capped the first half of '10 due to not enough time from work. But as for my current situation I am unemployed and am putting all my money and investments into capping this entire season, so....Is their initiations for this contrarian mafia? I really love the information you guys have to offer here....
