If you are looking for something really special in the way of carpeting for the Tower - a friend of mine who collects U.S. presidential memorabilia acquired the carpet from the Oval Office during the Clinton administration. I think he would be amenable to making a deal on it as there are more than a few "curious" stains on it.

To be honest, NC, I just found it to be too much of a load with little upside. There is only so much time every day to handicap, shop prices and physically get the plays in here at Nevada sportsbooks. No question there were times last year when the thread was actually compromising my actual bottom line - and that's pretty ridiculous when you're playing for thousands of real American dollars.

I know that you frequent sweetones' NBA thread. I do as well. I have great respect for him - he's a great handicapper - but we both see what he goes thru every day and what he puts up with. Sometimes I wonder why he does it. I can only conclude that I am just not as generous a guy as he is.

The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.
