I notice that ever since the Rev disappeared, there are fewer and fewer regular posters here...I know that has a lot to do... because we aren't posting the Series chase system here anymore...just the FAV system...but I find it somewhat ironic that the FAV system is so simple to follow and is a proven winner so far this season...and yet we're down to maybe 10 regulars contributing to the thread...it just seems strange to me that so few are interested...thanks again Balls 2 Wall for your efforts.

Exactly. I made my play on the Rangers B bet yesterday the second after the Nationals game was over as more often than not the line grows during the day. We could maybe turn this into a thread like TA's "No Rainouts Here" and post plays that we're making if we want to spice it up a little. That's what I thought we could do before, but there were some who were against that idea.

Like GG said, I think there just isn't much to talk about since it is just the one system and it isn't subjective. I think there are a lot more following than post.

With that being said, thanks for you and those still posting. If it was just me posting the plays without anyone else posting in here it would be hard to keep it up.

I like that idea as well....I know that df1000 tries to post his picks for the day and there is so much more that we could add to this thread for discussion purposes ...people have different systems that they work on and shared knowledge is always beneficial to those who appreciate it...

Rock and roll. I'll start posting my own plays with the series starting tomorrow. I'm on the Twins right now, and the price for today's game is great, I'm just hoping the Twins can return the favor from yesterday and beat Milwaukee's ace today.

I don't know that you shouldn't. Robertson's been decent over his past few starts, and Millwood's in a little bit of a slump. They're -115 at the Greek, which sounds nice to me. I wouldn't play much on them but I don't see anything wrong with it. Then again, I'm not a pro capper so I could have no idea what I'm talking about. The Twins lost for me so I was considering doing a D bet from that series and putting it on the Rangers ML, but I think I'm going to just sit back, root for the Fav system, and distribute my losses over my next chases to try and make it up a little bit at a time. I'll be rooting for the fish for you, though.

On that note, I'm considering five chases, three of which I really like. My strong plays are the Rays, the Rangers, and the Reds. I'm also looking at the Cards and the A's. Those last two don't have any probable starters for tomorrow's games on si.com yet, but with Garcia going for the Cards in game three, and getting money on tonight's game to keep the price down might be the clincher. The A's chase isn't actually on the A's as much as it is fading the Pirates, so I'll probably end up going on that one, too. I've got to spread out my losses from the Twins chase I just lost and I'd much rather spread it on five chases than three.

Rev went to a D bet on the last series he was here for I believe and had a couple of C's I think

However, he didn't keep records on his a, b, c and d bets so I couldn't add it to the record I have been keeping. Those numbers are just since I have taken over. I haven't had time to go back and add all of his up.

I am just now getting started looking at games for tonight

I like TB and OAK and may be on them for a single play tonight with the option to chase if needed


like texas too, but too much juice for me. I may take them @ -1.5 for a single play. @ 11 wins in a row they will lose before long. I show a 61% winning team should win 10 in a row max on most occasions. If they sweep HOU I may start a small chase against them.

Can't believe that Jackson threw a no-hitter against the Rays. That's the second time this season that the same team was no-hit, which hasn't happened since 2001. I thought they were supposed to have a decent lineup. Last night's results wouldn't have hurt as much if we didn't lose the B bet on the Rangers, as well. Here's to a better day today and to Texas beating a Houston team they really should be mauling today
