I hate how the announcers excuse Valdez' non slide at 2nd because he's a pitcher. Or how they say Lopez doesn't know to pause before throwing home. These are the best players who have been the best players likely their whole lives. They throw hard so they pitched growing up 98% of them. Even if they haven't thrown one inning, they've seen pitchers all their life, they are baserunners, why the **** wouldn't they know something that a couple idiot announcers do about the game?
