I woke up thinking that this may be a good spot for some Celtics until I saw the line LOL! I refuse to back the Pelicans despite an advantage on paper; and certainly not against the Grizzlies who are on a tear. CJ McCollum can't do everything by himself. It appears that I will get me some Nuggets-it's just a matter of time. With Luka out for the Mavs I do see them as a good opportunity to go into Phoenix and catch the Suns napping a bit. With such a big underdog advantage for the Heats and joes blasting away on Hawks it makes all of he sense in the world to wait it out and get a better ML price for the Heats. There are all sorts of landmine numbers that the Hawks would have to avoid to be a good move. It won't happen.
Also the Bucks may end up being overvalued with Lillard and Giannis out. Looks like some load management stuff. Anyway there is 74% of the money on them and the line is rising right up into the price point that I am looking for to back the Bulls (+2.5 to +4).
I have good interest in the Pistons as well. joes are rushing to support the Nuggets and they are actually in a bad spot facing a team that defends better than they do on a back end game.
The Jazz once again have some small injuries to keep an eye on. I think that I was the only bettor who started siding with them immediately once they were healthy and they did as well as one can expect. The problem with this team is health and also when they are healthy they are a problem for opposing teams who are steadily trying to figure out who in the hell to guard with a concentrated effort. And they are scrappy-a great team to bet on-again when healthy. I mean...have the Bulls progressed to the point where they can be laying elite chalk on the road? I know that it's the Hornets-I get that. they're terrible and a team that gives no effort when they hit the stadium. This is a game between the Ball Brothers...I don't know. On paper this game looks winnable for the Hornets tho.
The Nuggets are an elite team- a sleeping giant if you will. Giving the Jazz that many points at home is taxing. The Jazz have some good pieces and they give maximum effort which of course is why they keep covering for me. Gonna be really interesting what the closing number is for this one-there are landmines all over the place.
As assembled, the Cavs are a well oiled machine with a good ball movement philosophy. As assembled the Warriors have not found that rhythm. Yet and still it's a tough proposition to give them 4.5 points at home. They do have a closer and you know who that is.
The Knicks/Wizards tilt is one of those where you don't want to put your money with the joes and you also don't want to put your money on a pathetic team. El Paso.
The same thing can be said about the Clippers/Pelicans. Who in their right mind would make a move for the Pelicans? CJ McCollum is basically on an island and teams have figured that out. Zion Williamson has this team handcuffed.
The Sixers best number is the opening number (-6.5) I don't see a scenario where they get up to being favored by 9.5-so points are at a premium for the Blazers.
The Kings? I think that it will be found out sooner than later that it wasn't the coach-it's the absent minded players. How does a guy go from being Coach Of The Year in 2023 to be being fired mid season in 2024-2025 season? A player gets an MVP and is cut 1.5 years later? I've never seen it. Coach Brown got hosed. Put that aside-the Kings priced at -3.5 is worthy of a ML play-anything other than that looks to be the Mavs and the POINTS-even with Luka out for the unforeseeable futureComment -

Whoa! Sorry about that boys. I got on a heater.
I didn't have to use all of my money for the move-I actually got to keep $700.00 because the move was on a +100 ML. So I made my move at the sportsbook and then went to the craps table. I put $100 chips on both the 6 and the 8 after coming out throws and let it keep riding; picking up my profits immediately after each 6 and 8 and leaving the initial stake of $100 on both down. Before I knew it I made $2800 off of that $200 and vig sitting on the 6 and 8! Good stuff!
