BTW the shutouts are with the Cardinals and the Halos today-both teams are over .500 and I will chase with them. As far as the Royals are concerned, I won't chase a shutout loss with a below .500 team

#79With a mere 9% of the money moves on Bruce Zimmerman and the Orioles; this is shaping up to be a huge payday for bookies should the Men In Orange pull this one off. As far as I am concerned I would have enough money from this one move to pay for my mortgage for June immediately-and i will demand a withdrawal before the morning... Go Orioles!Comment -

#86With the double dip on Wednesday I will have to check in on whether or not Skubal will get a scheduled start-he is better than anything that the Buccos can put on the bump.
Presently I am tying up some Nestor Cortes overnight in a few leagues, though not chasing strikeouts-the Bombers bats are undeniably hot right now and Kikuchi is a DNS starter if there ever was one.
And then there is Ohtani. As stated before he doesn't get as many starts as one would like when assembling your fantasy league roster-however those starts have intrinsic value and disastrous consequences should he bomb.
Montas and Giolito are plug and play-don't overthink it. Just start the menComment -

#88The matchup we've all been waiting for may just happen in Beantown with two DNS starters in Detmers and Whitlock may get the call and immediately produce an OVER in the FF in the #2 highest run producing park right behind Coors Field. #89I left myself a bit exposed with Wheeler and the Blunts; and also with Mackenzie in a tough matchup against Quantrill. It's not that I don't like Quantrill; I ranked him at #18; it's just thatMackenzie made my top tier at #10 so I blasted away on him in 2 leagues. Anyway-enjoy your Hump Day.

#92I am locking in Adrian Houser (Brews) into 4 leagues overnight and yes I am chasing strikeouts too. Looking at my rankings for tomorrow it appears that there will be more totals moves than usual as quite a few of my top tier top 10's are facing one another. And then there's Ohtani Day on Baby Friday (Thursday)!Comment -

#93Plug and play Robbie ray is my #1 today and is facing my #4 Shane McClanahan. Only thing is sometimes Manager Kevin Cash doesn't let his starters go the full five frames-I will take my chances. Two top tiers facing one another-UNDER!
Logan Webb (#2) is scheduled to roll for the G-men today vs Miles Mikolas (#8)-no confirmation as of yet however. In the event that is the matchup going with the under.
i grabbed Aaron Nola (#5) when times where hard for his ERA and it's paying dividends in my leagues. I will continue rolling with him. Tijuan Walker is not a gas can; he is heretofore.
Luzardo (#7) vs Martinez (#12) is a tough one-normally I only go with the under with 2 top tier streamers. This one however is hard to pass up given Nicks stuff.
With Skubal (#9) and Urquidy (#10) the UNDER is in play.
Spenser Watkins and Chris Archer are both DNS for me and the risk outweighs the gain. However playing in the Camden Yards produces runs by the bushel so OVER she blows.
Two DNS starters pitching in Coors? You know the drill. Take the over and go make a sandwich.
That brings us to this-I am rolling out Adrian Houser in several leagues as my Fantasy POD. However I am NOT rolling with the brews for a FF straight today. The vigorous is too high for my liking..
It's Ohtani Day-plug and play

#96Overnight lock in some Tyler Anderson (Dodgers). He's proven himself as a good starter capable of going 5 frames and a date with the Cubs seems lovely. Still don't forget he has a capped ceiling making for a worse floor than I normally involve myself with.
In my second tier I am definitely rolling with another of my wind up and put down studs this year Merrill Kelly and the Snakes. Kuhl is a DNS for me and the Rox are much worse on the road than at home.
The schedule for Friday is LARGE. I can't wait to dig inside of the numbers for streamersComment -

#98Oh my...I just unearthed a doozy for tomorrow. We have Eovaldi (#5) Red Sox vs VINCE VELASQUEZ (#27) Pale Hose...and the Red Sox are off of a 8-0 shutout loss....I may have to triple down on this; not by choice, more like by necessity.
The Coffee Cakes and Red Leggins have JT Brubaker (#16) and Overton (#25) at a high run producing park-only thing is the Red Leggins haven't been hitting the ball and having Votto out doesn't help either. this as good as it looks may be a pass for me. back to miningComment -

#100Just watching the end scores of some of the games-watching bullpens blow leads and ultimately lose games where the consensus was correct, the cash was in the right direction and losses still occur.
I feel that it's best to get to know your MLB starting pitchers and play on their performance level during the time that they will be in the game at work and nothing else.
At least that way you can get some push moves and still get your money back in the event that the first 5 frames end in a tie; and limit the first five runlines to a minimum. Can't get a PUSH for a full game move...Comment -

#104It's Ace Day today!
Gerrit Cole (#1) and Scherzer (#2) are plug and play period. Next!
Gausman(#3) and Bieber (#6) face one another as top tier top 10's so the under is the move
Alcantara comes in at #4 ranking today facing Yu Darvish both plug and play top tier starters so UNDER it is.
I touched on Eovaldi (#5) last night facing your favorite fade and mine DNS Vince Velasquez (#27). With the Red Sox coming off of an embarrassing 8-0 shutout loss at home this one I am going to double down on.
I am trusting Logan Gilbert (#8) to outduel the seemingly forthcoming bullpen game vs Wisler (DNS). Rays Manager Kevin Cash is good at these type of games-yet Gilbert is still in my top tier so I shoved him into 2 leagues today.
Eric Lauer is electric. The Braves have yet to name a starter-it look like Huscuar Ynoa may be in line to get the nod-would you trust in him to make it through 5 frames fresh off the farm? No.
Rounding out the top tier top 10 is none other than Merrill Kelly getting the call against Kuhl and the Rox, a team that hasn't shown the ability to duplicate their hitting average at home on the road.
Tyler Anderson is the POD for 4 leagues for me in fantasy-he apparently will be the only Dodger hurler that will offer extreme value among their starters and for that I am in.
What do you get when you combine the efforts of 2 DNS starters (Hernandez and Lyles) in a park that has the second highest run average? An OVER.
I may or may not get in on the Nats/Halos event. Adon is a DNS pitcher at this point in his early development; and the Halos haven't named a starter yet-Barria looks to be in line for it. If so he is a DNS and the over is on the way.
