Also appreciate the advice in all honesty I don’t consider myself to be profitable in all sports and I mainly bet MLB and football. I focus my energy on those sports the most. As for tennis I only really bet the majors. And NBA I rarely bet bc to be honest I am a horrible NBA capper. as for the NHL I dabble if I see something I like but really only bet the playoffs mostly. It’s been an ironic year for me as I have been profitable in the MLB the last 4 years. This year has been a grind and am definitely trying to fight my way back by staying disciplined and hoping my stats and models even out down the stretch. Feel like I’ve had a combination of bad luck in extra inning games and a little trouble adjusting to the balls jumping out of the yard at an extreme rate. But as always appreciate any words of advice and or suggestions! Best of luck in the capping world billyloco

My season win total update. how are we trending and where i stand on teams with some small notes. also suggesting a couple futures
Miami Marlins Under 63.5 Wins (3 units). My biggest win total of the year by far. We are trending in the right direction as the Marlins would have to go 20-24 over the final 44 games of the season. I won't lie this team has actually been much better than i anticipated as i thought this was a slam dunk winner. We are still in plenty of good shape as the Marlins have the Dodgers, Nationals 2x, Phillies 2x and Brewers. All teams fighting for playoff spots. Also the Marlins play just 10 home games in September which should help us get there as the Fish have been dreadful on the road carrying a 20-36 record thus far.

Atlanta Braves Over 85.5 Wins (1 unit). I loved this play before the season the only thing that kept me from throwing more money down was i decided to throw a unit on the braves at +415 to win the East. The win total and division should win barring an epic collapse

Washington Nationals Over 88.5 Wins (1 unit). This one will be close. But they are trending in the right direction. With Scherzer close to coming back and a schedule that features 6 games with the Marlins, 2 with the Orioles, and 4 with the Pirates. We should be plenty alive to cash this one but it will no doubt come down to the wire

Philadelphia Phillies Under 90.5 Wins (1 unit). This win total was asking the Phillies to play 10 games over .500 baseball to cash it. In a tough division and some overrated acquisitions IMO. I decided to take this one under as i was much higher on the Braves and Nats than the Phillies. The Phillies are 3 games over .500 as we speak so they will have to play strong down the strech. This one also likely will come down to the wire. But the recent injury of Jake Arietta can't make over backers feel very good about this one.

Mets - No Play . I didnt play this one and I'm happy i don't have to sweat this one down the stretch. Because this team is some kind of warm right now. Here is my preseason quote though "I'm thinking about an under play just because of how tough the division will be but the bullpen and starting pitching plus the big time prospect Alonso might be enough to get them into the 86-87 win range. So for now its a no play for me" . Hit the nail on the head with the Alonso statement. Jeff McNiel also has been a monster part as well.

St. Louis Cardinals Over 87.5 Wins (1 unit), Milwaukee Brewers Under 86.5 Wins (1 unit), Cubs - No Play... I will sum up these three all at the same time. These teams are a log jam in terms of the NL Central division and Wild Card spots. All three of these are coin flips depending on how they shake out against each other down the stretch

Pittsburgh Pirates Under 78.5 Wins (1 unit) . Sweat free winner

Cincinnati Reds Over 78.5 Wins (1 unit). This one can still easily win but i highly doubt it does. The Reds have lost so many close games despite incredible starting pitching. The bullpen has been awful and after the demoralizing blown lead in final game against the cubs over the weekend this team likely packs it in for the rest of the season. Hopefully they show some fight down the stretch but i don't see it.

LA Dodgers Over 93 Wins (1.5 Units). Much like the Pirates - "Sweat Free Winner"

Rockies Over 84.5 Wins (1.5 Units). Opposite of the dodgers- "Sweat free Loser" . I swung and missed on this one. nothing else to say

Padres Under 78.5 Wins (1 Unit) . I decided last min to throw down some money on the Under. This looks like it was a good decision as Padres are trending in the right direction to go under the win total. That being said this team isn't likely one i will be fading in the future. As the talent on this team is something to see.

Giants Under 73.5 Wins (1 Unit) . Another one last min i decided to hit the under. I think i would play it again if I could. A team that looked like definite sellers at the deadline turned it around and made some noise. they are only 3.5 games out of the wildcard as it sits. How? I have no idea -- a -56 run differential and from what i have seen is a either a tremendous amount of grit or incredible luck.

Dbacks - No Play

Houston Astros Over 96.5 Wins (2 units). This is a winner unless they go 18-24 in the final 42 games. and that isnt happening This team is incredible. Must watch at all times. loaded in every aspect.

Minnesota Twins Over 83.5 Wins (1 unit) . This is another sweat free winner. only question with the twins is if they can win the division.

Detroit Tigers Under 68.5 Wins (1 Unit). Easy winner. This team is unwatchable.

White Sox Under 75.5 Wins (1 unit). We are trending in the right direction on this one. But too early too tell.

Blue Jays Under 75 Wins (1 unit). This is another one that is going to win. But despite the poor record this is a fun team to watch. And ill go ahead and say it now in a couple years with some pitching additions this team might be scary good.

NL East:Washington Nationals +290 (1 unit)Atlanta Braves +415 (1 unit)

-----The Braves should win this one but if they don't its likely the Nats that would get it done. Lets hope for our sake the braves hang tough and both teams surpass the win total!


NL Central:St Louis Cardinals +220 (1 unit) . ---Rooting for the cardinals in what should be chaos down the stretch in the CentralReds +1550 (0.20 units). Loss but don't think the play was horrible


NL West:Its the Dodgers to lose i would suggest a play on -330 or better as i think it has value. But that being said the Rockies scare me enough to stay away. No play here. I


AL East:
Yankees -118 (1.5 units) They should win it this year. ----Should be a winner despite an epic collapse

AL Central:Indians I suggest a play on -350 or better. The twins are only team that can compete and still i don't see them hanging with the Tribe long term. But i am not laying -350 on this only because it would be tying up money for 6 months. -----I think the Indians do win this but i'm glad i don't have to sweat out a -350.

AL West:Astros -600 has tons of value in my opinion. Look i get it, people will say how could the astros have any value at -600? Well the number is short in my opinion. There is a reason that this teams win total is 96.5. I don't see anyone coming close to competing with this team. I doubt the A's can replicate what they did last year. That being said im not going to suggest tying up money on a -600 line for 6 months. But there is value there as i have the Astros between -900 and -1000 to win the division.-----I didn't bet it but kick your feet up and relax if you did!

WITH A LITTLE GOOD FORTUNE IT COULD BE A MONSTER YEAR IN THE WIN TOTAL DEPARTMENT! lets bring home some winners down the stretch! good luck all! todays card in a bit!
