I ran all the stats for the system for tonights games...but did not have time to apply them! I just stopped in...will not be home.. May run them tonight and apply for tomorrows games and see how it works. Also good luck on your Brewers play that series did not fit in the system and no opinion have not reviewed it.

I am in for just 5 innings and such a small bet... But I know there are some nervous people on the Cubs tonight... This is why I do not use the Morrison approach... A conservative chase system works much better.... But GL everyone on the Cubbies!

You should have probably look at Hardens road stats..and especially his stats during night games... Guy has been lights out!

I was thinking about adding to this bet...before posting but never got home in time... StL has dominated SD... Hopefully it holds up... Also wanted to play the dodger/cub game but decided to pass... Gorzelanney...off/on...would expect Dodgers to play well but the Cubs bats finally woke up yesterday so passed...

I always like working on the stats with a small bet in...so I can take a look at the gamecast every few minutes ...helps with the boredom...

OK...ran the first level of filters for this weekend series... here is what I am coming up with for the weekend chases... remember at this point I have not done the second level of filtering but wanted to get up what the system spotted before I do the second level which involves capping all the pitching matchups in each series... so here they are as they popped out... no order of strength yet...

I think I am going to have time in the morning to write series reviews which I only do once in a while... The system actually spun a few surprise picks out at me...Hou and Col...but lets see what I come up with... reviews will be up by morning... If you have followed thread and read post #429... I will bet from 1 to all of the series based on what I find in the second level of filtering... Should be able to tell by series reviews what I am betting... Bets will be up after reviews hopefully in morning... Have not checked game starting times... G.

Ok how I see it...

NYY at BOS- First I like to look at who needs the series more... I see Boston has a one game lead for the wild card and unless they can sweep here will be tough to catch the Yanks. But they have dominated the Yanks in Bos. Yanks have lost seven in a row in Fenway, and even though Penny has not pitched well lately, I will follow the Red Sox in this one...

Bos +1.5 -165 .30/.18 30 to win 18 (Game #1)


Ari at Hou- Arizona rides into town on a five game losing streak... Team stats are similar here, Giving Oswalt an advantage easily in game #1...do not like Moehler to much in game#2... And in game #3..if the chase goes that long Norris has been good, and is Garland really worth 12 mil a year...

SF at COL- Rockies have been hot and come in on a four game win streak. Giants just do not score runs. Hopefully the Rockies end this chase before Lincecum pitches in game #3. I like the Cook/Sanchez matchup in game#1. Cook usually wins, Sanchez usally loses. In game #2 De La Rosa should have a big edge... For Sf...Martinez has not gone past five innings this year, also he is giving up more than a hit an inning. If this one lasts to game #3...Jimenez is no bum...so lets hope it does not get here...to Lincecum... Also remember there is a game #4 in this one on Monday. Marquis had had a great year and should have an edge over Zito... So lets see what happens in this series between NL west contenders.

BAL AT CWS- This series looks like the most one sided, but remember the O's can hit. They actually remind me a lot like the Indians. They are pitiful on the road and have horrible pitching. I am not going to go through the pitching match ups here... I did already. The White Sox have an edge every single game, lets just see how their bullpen holds up.

I have built my unit amount up to try this for the weekend series...should be fun win or lose... Nice unit cushion and still not a lot of risk lets see what happens.

And remember if you are thinking about following any of these picks that is ultimately your decision...which makes it your own pick. This is a chase system and if you cannot follow the rules simply stated in post #429...you are not following the system! No skipping games, no RL (unless a plus runline), one win ends that particular series, no chase past three games...

The toughest choice was probably the Red Sox...but they are playing better and because they have a very nice wildcard shot...I am following the system..

What the hell my picks and the system have done very well... Even if it is a little bumpy this weekend... I am still sitting nice for the year. I wanted to try all the system picks again....small enough bets not to hurt me unit wise.
