wasn't planning on betting this game but after i looked at the starters,and i saw RICH HILL (L) starting i knew that soley because of this fact it was worth a play:
MARLINS 17-8 VS LEFTIES, this is my favorite stat, and is certianly worth a bet on the fish
hill has been a beast????? where are you lookin at dude, he blew when he was on the cubs and still sucks on the orioles. he's the typical 1 great start where you could see him becoming a #2, but then next time out he shits the bed and gets run after only 3 innings. dont get fooled with that 3-1 record, of those 3 wins, he only had 1 legit dominate game, i remeber seeing it, wana say it was vs seattle or he walks WAY TO MANY PEOPLE, 4,3,4 LAST 3 GAMES, and doesnt have good enough shit to fool hitters, though that is not always that hard to do with the fish, who average 8k's a game..
with that said, mr west isn't comin off a spectaular outing himself, gettin runned vs the hated yanks in only 4 innings while giving up 4 runs on 10 hits, but after some first inning jitters the staff settled down and gave up nothing from the 3rd inning on. we also have dan meyer most liely closing tonight given shit lidtsrom is on dl and leo is dinged up, meyer was impressive 1,2,3 last nite for frst save ever, i likey

haven't posted any fish plays in about a week now, layed off that nats series cause didnt wana pay alotta of juice yet i usually just say **** it and do so, if youre gonna pick a winner the juice dont matter cause you'll get it back.
last time vs the pirates, miller was HORRIFIC, couldnt hit the zone, walked a ton of guys and we got down early but had some chances to score but couldn't, i remeber cause this was the 1 game that was actually on tv when down at school. this start was millers last before he was put on the dl and then fixed up a little during rehab and such and his mechanics have been fairly decent in his last few outings., but he hasnt gotten the best results, getting hit fairly hard and going 1-2......
the fish pen has pitched an astonishing 14 2/3 innings in the past 3 games which makes us ask the question are we gonna be in toruble?? i dont think so cause meyer and nunez should be available tonight along with bandenhop if we need some long relief so i think we should be ok.
LASTLY, playing my favorite angle of the year, fish are 19-10 vs lefties this year and HOPEFULLY we can get to an even 20 after facing mr duke tonight

yah volstad has been EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING in like his last 8 starts lock, ur right about that. miller has shwon brillance but never gets that one break he needs during the game, but he was i guess decent today 3 runs in just under 7 innings.....

-cain is pretty much the only good thing in san francisco, other then the freak, and has given up few runs even in his last 2 defeats
-west mowed the giants down when they met in florida last month and i think he certainly can do it again, he's got good enough shit to do it
-a cross country plane ride is never that much fun and the fish have taken one, should be SLIGHTLY tired, but with the young kids they'll be able to handle it but still might have SMALL effect, plus hanley might not play tonight cause he's dinged up a little bit

yeah last nite i saw em down 7-0 im like WTF, worst team in baseball kicking our ass then we came back and dropped 2 tds on them,
i think the dbacks are gonna be totally disgusted after last nites cluster****, plus my boy ricky has been pitching like a freak since his demotion to new orleans. haren is typical haren, gives ya a shot to win when he starts but doesnt always get the run support to get him the W.
with everything said, i like the fish getting +135 ALOT, this team knows they can make some noise and really have people talking about them as they move into the allstar break PLUS they are scoring some decent amount of runs without the MVP 2 B hanley in the lineup (PLEASE COME BACK SOON). calero is back and looked great last nite, meyer is pitching well, donnelly was a great pickup and leo nunez is getting even better. the front office BETTER make a move and get us one more big bat to help protect hanley though and maybe another pitcher, if not bring up the stud gaby sanchez, espcially now that amezaga is out for the year after that gay wbc and another star player is hurt from it, PLEASE GET RID OF THE WBC!!!! supposedly heremdia is on block for pirates matt capps so well see.

-nolasco 4-0 vs dbacks and has given up 2,1,1,3 runs and had 10,9,7,4 K's in those games
but haren hasnt allowed over 2 runs in last 3 starts....
WITH ALL THAT SAID, im still gonna take the chance on my fish, escpially at +135 which i think is on overprice for us, espcially with the way ricky's been pitching.Comment -
