i like this one based mainly on numbers. jj has never faced the rockies in his career so they havent faced him and hopefully that can get him through atleast 3-4 innings before they get a good read on him, but then that could be a negative given he may not know exactly what he can get away with in coors field. on the other side, de la rosa has not faired well vs the fish in the past, he's 1-3 with in his career and in those games he gave up 7 runs in 1 2/3 innings (lost 12-2 @FLA), 3 in 5 innings (only W, won 12-6 @COL) in 2008
and in 07 he gave up 7 in 4 2/3 innigs (loss 9-8) and 4 runs in 5 innings (loss 11-1)Comment -

FROZEN MAN... I am going big on the marlins today.. here are some more numbers that fit with the above.. i just posted this on CK's thread
Hanley is finally starting to get hot.. which is bad news for everyone in the NL.
But the most staggering factors for me that make this game a big play are
1.DeLaRosa is 1-3 record with an 11.57 ERA as a starter versus the Marlins.
2.DeLaRosa gave up 6 runs on Monday AT san diego

Boston vs tampa over 9.5 (both of these teams score a lot of runs and both pitchers are struggling , plus when any two AL teams face each other always play the over)
Mets under 9 Pirates Bats are Ice Cold something Maine is 2.25 his last two out.. not good news for a Pirates team that can't seem to find the ball lately..bating .167 on the road . The under is def the play though homie...Comment -
Frozen thats a no play for me man... I see why maybe u like the Mariners.. loosing 5 in a row and having once of their young studs out .. but remember the Twins also have one of their young studs out their tonight as well.. IN my Humble opinion both pitchers are equal...
However I am actually leaning twins in this game and i will tell you why...
1. Seattle even with 5 looses should be the favorite tonight with their ace out there
2. Hernandez is just getting over the flu and got rocked by Texas last outing. I think its going to take at least another game before he rights his ship
3. Lirano is coming off his first win, and also back to back solid outings.. this pitcher is finally catching his stride this season. His last two games have been against very good hitting teams, Detroit & Tampa both of which he pitched very well.
4. Payback for the earlier matchup this season two pitchers faced off and lariano pitched well and lost
5. Mariners have been outscored 36 to 9 in the last 5 games.
just to many factors supporting the twins in my opinion.. in fact i might even play it for half a unit..Comment -

I was on the "Bet against the Fish" train over the past 10 days and made some very nice cabbage... Especially that DBacks series... Although I lost one today, for me it was only a half unit play as I figured their bad patch would turn sooner or later (especially with Johnson on the mound)... Guess I will watch and observe them for the next 2 games....
