Mets RL vs Josh Johnson? Really?
I'd like to hear your thought process on that selection if you have an angle or the time to explain. +12 units is real nice this time of year. Keep up the good work.

TheLock I will try to come back later to address your question....
Nice call on Colorado. I'm on the Reds and I'm going to take a chance on the Jays to beat Greinke at +130. GL

Hi TheLock. I took New York for the following reasons....
-I believed Santana would outpitch Johnson, who struggled his only start on the road. I knew Johnson was good but I felt Santana was better.
-Floridas bats had been ice cold and both Uggla and Ramirez possibly missing from the lineup. Even with Delgado out for the Mets I felt that Mets lineup was much stronger.
-New York has been 19-7 as a heavy favorite the last 3 years and 14-3 at home last 3 years as a heavy favorite
In retrospect it was a bad pick that I shouldnt have made. I actually had a lean on Arizona but couldnt pull the trigger due to my mistrust of Davis. The Mets had a couple chances to blow this game open but couldnt deliver, and I lost my unit.

Thanks diogee. Was a good day. I know it wont last forever but these little hot streaks can build up lots of units quickly to hold off cold spells. My goal is +75 units.

Toronto+119...fading Kyle Davies, Burres usually good in April/May, Jays have yet to lose a series this year, it will happen but I feel Davies is a below average pitcher and Burres can stay with him. Fade Burres after June 1st.
Arizona/Milwaukee o9 +100....Suppan due to implode, Scherzer not as good as the hype, Arizona bats heating up a bit.
Los Angeles Angels+200...Angels bats are heating up, Burnett is not a -200 pitcher, Yanks have sucked at home, I will take a good team that is starting to heat up like the Angels ANYTIME at +200. Ortega looks like a good young pitcher, could stymie the Yanks.
will add Texas RL later as soon as Pinny puts out a damn line.
Good luck all.

I would lean on the over but Burres has been historically good early in the season and Davies COULD have a good game. I think over is the right play here. I think the Jays get atleast 4 runs off Davies.
Two pretty good bullpens here.

Texas-118....I usually wouldnt pay this much to make a play on the Texas Rangers or Vince Padilla but the Rangers batters have been absolutely crushing left handed pitching this year and Braden doenst inspire a whole heckuva lot of confidence in me but he can pitch well on occasion and Oakland isnt really an offensive juggernaut. Yes, Braden has been solid so far but he's not unhittable and IMHO pitching a bit over his head. Add to that, once again, he is a lefty and in Texas 5 games vs lefties so far this season they have scored an average of 9.2 runs per game. During those games they have had 96 baserunners only 34 of which have been left on base. That tells me they love hitting lefties. Padilla has had historic success against the A's going 5-1 career and although he has been scary bad this year this is a good opportunity to have a good game. Giambi is doubtful for the A's.
Give me Texas at a nice solid number. If Texas had a bullpen I would consider the RL but no thanks.

Without the rough times, we wouldn't appreciate the best of times as much.
I'm fading my 'Stros again tonight, hate taking the mouth-breathers in Atlanta at -160, but that's the play for me. Good luck tonight Vonnegut.
