Thursday April 16 plays
Florida+121...Florida can beat anyone right now, I love their lineup and fading Atlanta's shaky looking, weak bullpen. Florida is hot right now and I see no reason why they shouldnt continue. How could you not take the +21 money here? Looks like Chipper Jones is out as well which can only help.
Houston+116....I hate making plays based on past seasons stats but Russ Ortiz is 8-1 lifetime vs the Pirates and that, coupled with what I feel will be a rusty Karstens and the Stros bats seem to be waking up, I find good value in this line. Pirates have been surprising so far and I hate fading them but I think Houston is good value today.
Chicago Cubs-1.5 +191...Cubs have had good success in the past at home vs the Cardinals 5-2 in the last 7, but what I really like here is lefty Sean Marshall and his success against St. Louis, Cubs have won 4 out of his last 5 starts against St. Louis. St. Louis coming off a long trip to Arizona, Cubs coming off a loss at home to Colorado, like the Cubs in this spot and at almost 2 to 1 its got good value.
Cleveland+192....whisky tango foxtrot? This number is just too big to resist, I know CC is a good solid pitcher but I think Cliff Lee is good enough to keep the Indians in this one and Ill take a stab at this number. Yanks will get alot of money due to home opener, Yanks mystique, etc, but I like the Indians lineup here against the big lefty.

Sir I am a value bettor who uses a shotgun approach and usually ends up profitable by the end of the year. I have a tried and true dog system that works well over the course of the season. I may go on 2 week long streaks where I am down units but I only need 2 or 3 good days to recover any losses, and usually I end up 40-50 units with a slow and steady approach. I use a certain set of tactics based on betting dogs with good starting pitchers starting pitchers, I like to fade losing streaks at home and ride them on the road. If a number has value I will take it, I dont care if its a RL at +350, but that value has to come within certain set perimeters.
