Yes. That was the premise of the original thread, take the ONE biggest ML favorite and play that team on the RL. We'll probably have people on different teams today (Friday) because the odds are close.

Texas is my B play after the Cardinals failed to cover the 1.5 on Friday. I don't have lines for either of those two other games, but I can't imagine they'd be higher than where I have Texas (-185).

I've read the first 5 pages of posts and then the last 3...the system seems pretty good but can someone briefly explain to me what the version 2 or chase 2 is?? Are we taking the top 2 heavy favorites now?

been following this site for sometime, just registered so i can ask a Q. I like this system, but please clarify something for me. When you say an "A", "B", "C" bet and so on, do the letters denote what # of the chase the bet is? for instance, it is a C bet if the first two of a new chase did not hit?

Well, looks like the wagering gods are toying with us . . . three times in four days the RL play won the game but failed to cover the 1.5. That happened once last year, so this level of frustration isn't something we're entirely new to, huh?

Tuesday's play is St. Louis at home vs. Houston. Good luck to one and all.

What kind of prices are you guys getting on the RL? I get the feeling my book intentionally puts a higher price on this number. Here's what I've gotten over the last five days:

May 7, St. Louis -135
May 8, Texas -105
May 9, St. Louis -120
May 10, Boston +100
May 11, St. Louis -115

I'm wondering if my prices are worse than everyone else's.

OK, here's something I fail to understand.

On Tuesday, the Phillies opened at -170 with Halladay the scheduled starter at Colorado. That game was rained out, rescheduled for today (Wednesday) at 3:10 p.m. So why do I now see these same starting pitchers and Philly's opening odds at something like -105?

I guess St. Louis (-162) is Wednesday's biggest ML opening favorite, but I'm not sure what to do.

SBR has STL opening at -175 as the highest of the day (with pinnacle as the first book)

I like the system, But I like to bet underdogs. I think I will backtest and see if the same system can be used for the biggest dog of the day. Ill post what I come up with here

Im through April 30, 2009 So far and it looks good. I'm gonna keep backtesting and see what I can come up with. Only flaw was there was one 7 game chase so far.

If I like the results when I get to the end of the 09 season. I may post a new thread and actually start betting it!

Just got to August 09 and It has too 3 losses. I dont think I will try it.
