random thoughts on cards/oak rubber match..
no one preaches fading cards against soft tossing lefties like i do (if i didnt invent it i should have! lol)..only differences i guess in this 1 is 1st and foremost price, milone a little more solid than the real shit lefties i like to take like bedard or lilly (anyone with like a 5ish era), and oaktown a really good club so naturally not gonna get the nice plus im used to in this one but i think it getting drove up too high, maybe ppl starting to catch on to cards numbers vs these soft tossers but think -140ish is getting little out of hand and cards +135 is somewhat tempting..the other thing and i might be reading to much into it but during the gm yesterday with guys on 1st and 3rd no outs when the gm was still close melvin went to his pen and brought in a lefty vs holliday, something yo would have never seen in the past. whether that made a impression on cards or not i dunno but i was sure thinking "damn you fools been so pathetic against lhp that its come to this", of coarse holliday proceeds to get a hit then even bigger is adams who for whatever reason matheny has been reluctant to play vs lefties jacked a hr which i think assured him a spot in lineup in this one vs milone which prob should have happened all along..when i bet cards yesterday said beforehand win or lose they losing to milone 2marro and after that sequence i started backing off that and now the price on cards combined with that has me leaning to playing them..again i might be reading way more into that than is really there and they go back to sucking vs lefties in this one but honestly it makes no freaking sense with all their right handed talent and lefties that can hit lefties that they been so poor vs them, just something i know as a fact and accept cause really no answer for it. got a distinct feeling that move by melvin could have sparked cards to look in the mirror a little and get back to taking a good approach vs pitchers from both sides of the plate..Comment -

laa/hou ov 9 +102 1.5x..really like this play, no clue why they offering me plus money but if i havnt mentioned before (or ya wernt listening, lol) i tend to trust hou to score off lefties, and this one that sets up great cause i much rather have halo's facing a righty, especially a righty that throws 70% fastballs and can not locate it, it bad enough to be throwing that much heat but when you only throw 40something% ks what happens is not only do yo walk ppl as harrell does (barely more than a k per walk) but then everyone knows what coming when you have to come over the plate, cards lit this dude up like a xmas tree and while i hate comparing cards to halo's if yo can get over fact halos suck and cards do not there are similarities, both much better against rhp, both like the fastballs, and laa is heating up, i think they come in here and return the favor from that pathetic 4 gm sweep in la. id expect between harrell getting knocked around and ran by 5th then halos will go to work on a pen that has been pretty bad..not taking anyting away from wilson but stros have got him for 4 hrs in like 11 innings, granted plenty of solo shots but hou can hit lefties and that short porch is very easy to take adv of as they got cj for 2 blast his last trip to ho, unfortunately even tho hou drew walks and scattered 7 hits the 2 hrs were both solo. i gotta cap this believing stros can get another 2 off cj and all im asking if for a runner on base for one of them. even in cj good gms vs stros they have still got him to throw a lot of pitches and run him before completing more than 6, another over where i feel like we gonna get at least 3 innings from some suspect pens and feel like only reason not paying juice is cause the cj wilson name and lastros less than stellar reputation.. but that doesnt matter cause stros hit lefties and have been even better lately vs them. if this team sets up for anything is taking advantage of tthat short porch and lhp.. dont thing hou has a problem scoring 3-4 runs and i expect laa to puch this well over the numnberComment
