pads+102..lee has a 1-2 record w a 4.99 era and 1.4 whip against the pads in his career, pads hit lefties better than righties and laid a egg vs a lefty yesterday. Stults is 3-1 at home with a 2.90 era and whip under 1. Pads are the better team and we get the better pen. So lee hot and we get plus money with the better team at home. Ill take that every time.. cards-116 3x..in waino i trust to be the stopper he is, coming off b2b losses where he had terrible 1st inning (actually terrible .1 of a inning) against scrubbis, then last gm matheny pulling him in a 1-1 gm and then the man he was responsible for scoring as he watched, waino was not happy, you cant have watched waino for long and not expect a big time performance out of him today. im sure ya'll heard this before but i will always back wainwright at this kind of number and in the end i will come out ahead...

easy sell..waino at that number, must play..i do worry what the offense brings as they have started to let their shit abs against lefties carry over, just hope they can be patient vs parker and make him get the sinker up a little, plus when he has been throwig the 4 seamer it been getting hit, prob is he not throwing it for ks, if he was lefty cards be screwed cause they flail at everything lefties toss up there, hoping they get back to taking the good approach they been doing most the yr, but really if they give us 3 or more i feel like waino shuts the door, throw out last season which you have to with waino and he is something like 77-12 when getting at least 3 runs (even if you count last season which we all know wasnt the same guy and still 89-19 in such situations), obviously id feel better with 4-6 runs but i think 3 will be enough. clearly i got tagged betting waino to avoid the sweep sunday night but honestly believe no way that 2nd run scores if matheny lets him stay in and get next batter, again waino is getting up there in the carp type competitor category imo and i heard a extreamly unhappy guy after not getting a chance to get ot of 7th 1-1 and while this could certainly lose, his makeup is that of someone that will be out there on a mission..Originally posted by BiffTFinancial

sure, there is a chance of a Tribe letdown, but it was like the longest doubleheader in history, so i don't think that guys went out last night (i'm sure they send Ubaldo back early). i think that they'll be professional and realize that this is a big game. winning both last night doesn't mean nearly as much if they give one back today and have to try to win the series Sunday (letdown Sunday much bigger possibility if they win tonight). also, Axelrod blows and the White Sox had to have penetrating hated coming to work today while Tribe skipped into the stadium feeling great.
