Taking Sunday off for the boy's 4th birthday. Been up since 5 watching cartoons, feeling a little punchy already. Taking his new bat and tee set out in awhile to hit balls. Birthday party is noon to 3, so right in the sweet spot of the two games that i like (M's/Tribe under, Jays/Yanks over), so gonna pass on today altogether. Did that for Mothers Day last Sunday and enjoyed it. BOL today whatever you play. i am tailing a buddy on two soccer plays (1/2u) at 11 am: Man U ML (-105) and ML parlay: Spurs + Chelsea (+122).

hey, Steven, good to see ya. i would not touch Tribe today. i will have them per usual for 1u on the emotional ML, but i think that Felix bamboozles the Tribe today. i think that the under or one of the TTs under is probably the best angle there.

agree. Lincecum + Coors + McClelland behind the plate = auto-play over. of course, we were a little fortunate to win (needing 2 runs heading into bottom 8th and getting 3 more from Rocks), but it won. i saw a guy that i respect on that under yesterday and had to wonder. sure, any game can finish under, but why try that one?

Great day indeed. Wore me out, though, i was fast asleep by the 3rd inning last night (and not because of booze this time). The boy really likes his new bat and baseball bag and can't wait to show them to the other kids at practice tonight.

I like the under today for M's/Tribe. This is a big-time getaway day, with Tribe heading to Boston and M's heading to LA. Trying to decide between under and FF under. Part of me thinks that all the late-inning heroics have been used up for this series, so i should just go full-game under (this game looks like 4-2 to me), while part of me sees the Tribe trotting out less than their best lineup and struggling to score off of Iwakuma early. I think that this line will only drop once lineups are released and some regulars get the day off.

As a Tribe fan, you have no idea how happy it makes me to read those two sentences. Two months ago, both concepts would've been laughable. One point that I will make: yes, the Tribe has been ripping the off of the ace pitchers that they've seen recently, but for most of those, their lineup had seen those pitchers a fair amount over the years. Tribe roster only has 25 total at-bats vs Iwakuma (4 hits), so i think that lack of familiarity makes this a different situation than Verlander, Lee, Halladay, Hamels, Sale, et al. You are definitely correct about the depth, though - the offense is on a roll right now and everyone Tito plugs in hits and his moves end up working as a rising tide is floating all ships for the Tribe offense at present.
