decided to do a few days of extended spring training for myself to get my feet wet and since i have had some really awful starts to past seasons. going to start today with actual 1u plays. plays will range from 1u minimum to 5u maximum. 2u is my "standard" play, and hope to graduate from 1u to 2u in the next week or so. don't make many 5u plays, probably just a few per season. will include all relevant lines for sides; for totals, unless stated otherwise, juice should be assumed to be at -110.

one thing: i will use an apostrophe to signify a half-run (e.g., 7.5 = 7'). this is very professional, and will save us all a lot of time.

forgot how anxious i get waiting for ump assignments. lot of under guys out there today, making my over leans in Colorado, Milwaukee somewhat risky until i find out who is behind the plate.

Porter in Detroit (good news for under backers)

frankly, NYY/DET under is pretty intriguing with Porter, the Yanks shitty lineup and the fact that the Yanks didn't get to Detroit until after 2 am, but there is a stiff breeze to center and Nova got rocked in his only prior appearance in Comerica so pass for me.

Braves/dodgers ML Parlay looks enticing

i don't think that i want to be on Greinke, i lean Pirates in that one (pacocn also pointed out to me that Sanchez has good numbers vs Dodgers). O's, Rocks and Mets are my top 3 ML parlay options (after Tigers, which already started). could also consider wrapping Bravos with Tribe/Rays under 8 juiced. BOL whatever you decide.

I saw that after I posted. A lot of juice and rightfully so. Pirates looked dreadful against the scrubs.

Pirates did look weak at bat, but i was on the under in 2 of 3 games in that series and the weather conditions were not conducive to hitting at all. i think that they will break out offensively out west (McCutcheon has 4 SBs already and i like that they're being aggressive on the basepaths). that said, they are a pretty homely dog right now.
