yea those 2 weeks right after asb are the toughest,,i skipped them last yr and came out strong in aug, just gotta avoid those 2 weeks right after cause they never seem to go well for me either..

true dat. also, given how much i love college football and college hoops, i have to take a break from the sweat sometime, so July-August break to prep for football makes a ton of sense. that said, bases capping beats the shit out of everything else, and it's hard to make oneself take a break. i haven't had a true prolonged break since August 2011 and i want to be more fresh mentally come Labor Day weekend.

good stuff, IB, thank you. getting ready to cap that one right now. i always loved Liriano with the Twins, so i was very interested in his start Saturday and backed him vs Niese (and obviously was happy with the results and enjoyed the watch too). he looks good Saturday, and perhaps just as important, didn't have to throw too many pitches or many stressful pitches because the Rats scored 11 runs for him. i don't generally play FF RL, but going to check this one out (as i don't normally pay -150 on a FF ML either). thanks a lot for posting those stats, they are making a compelling case already. im actually almost caught up at work after finally having a week with no rain, easy day today then off all weekend for 1st time this spring

a stl/garcia ff might be in order tonight as after cards saw couple soft tossers last few days they get a kid that throws hard and doesnt throw much besides the heat which probably means they in for a decent offensive day..dont remember jaime having to many b2b bad home starts so id expect him to pitch well (for 5 innings anyways) after getting shelled by rockies last time out ..

what's up, Terp? good to see you, pal. i haven't capped that game yet, but fading Sale with Angels sounds like a non-starter to me. i will take a closer look in a bit (working through early games). as for Philly, i can see the allure of Cliff Lee as a small fave. will get to that one soon. capped Yanks and Tribe games first and trying to keep myself from wrapping them in a two-teamer before capping anything else.
