#526true dat. also, given how much i love college football and college hoops, i have to take a break from the sweat sometime, so July-August break to prep for football makes a ton of sense. that said, bases capping beats the shit out of everything else, and it's hard to make oneself take a break. i haven't had a true prolonged break since August 2011 and i want to be more fresh mentally come Labor Day weekend.Comment -

#528Thank you. Haven't done any capping since 9 am so hadn't even noticed that yet. That's not good. I really wanted to fade Harang at Yankee Stadium. He just begs to be faded at a park like that (or Miller or other parks where flyball pitchers go to die).Originally posted by StevenSuarezHeads up: Harang out, Noesi in. Still like the Yankees, but it does change things.Comment -

#529Biff, I'm on Pit -.5 -105 FF for a nice sized bet.
Burgos has had a long rest and don't think he will fair well against Pirate batters who were patient last night and should continue that trend. Liriano had one of Saturday’s best starts in the league, posting the second-best single-game xFIP (1.58) among the day’s 30 starters and also third-highest single-game WAR (0.3). His line was : 5.1 IP, 24 TBF, 9 K, 2 BB, 4 GB on 12 batted-balls (33.3%), .462 BABIP
Brewers are also getting on a plane tonight, while Pitt will stay put.Comment -

#530good stuff, IB, thank you. getting ready to cap that one right now. i always loved Liriano with the Twins, so i was very interested in his start Saturday and backed him vs Niese (and obviously was happy with the results and enjoyed the watch too). he looks good Saturday, and perhaps just as important, didn't have to throw too many pitches or many stressful pitches because the Rats scored 11 runs for him. i don't generally play FF RL, but going to check this one out (as i don't normally pay -150 on a FF ML either). thanks a lot for posting those stats, they are making a compelling case already. BOL tonight IB!Originally posted by italianbanditBiff, I'm on Pit -.5 -105 FF for a nice sized bet.

im actually almost caught up at work after finally having a week with no rain, easy day today then off all weekend for 1st time this spring
a stl/garcia ff might be in order tonight as after cards saw couple soft tossers last few days they get a kid that throws hard and doesnt throw much besides the heat which probably means they in for a decent offensive day..dont remember jaime having to many b2b bad home starts so id expect him to pitch well (for 5 innings anyways) after getting shelled by rockies last time out ..Comment -

#543what's up, Terp? good to see you, pal. i haven't capped that game yet, but fading Sale with Angels sounds like a non-starter to me. i will take a closer look in a bit (working through early games). as for Philly, i can see the allure of Cliff Lee as a small fave. will get to that one soon. capped Yanks and Tribe games first and trying to keep myself from wrapping them in a two-teamer before capping anything else.Originally posted by CappinTerpBiff how it's going.? #554Rays/O's over was probably my favorite (model puts that right around 9.9-10), along with Tigers/Rangers. don't like not having any totals on card, oh well. at least now we know the crews and can start mapping out the SP and ump matchups for the weekend.Originally posted by 2daBankplayed couple totals last night, over 9 +102 in balty (shit ass number) and kc/oak un 7.5-110(good ass number)..that was all i liked total wise at 2am or whatever it was..Comment -
