Got smoked harder than a joint at a Snoop Lion concert yesterday. In need of a bounce back day, and I'm revisiting the same two teams from Friday. Fowler back in the lineup gives the Rockies the needed pop to put up numbers, and I don't see the Reds leaving Arizona with a tail between their legs. Latos is their rock, and he should prove it today.

Needed a bounce back day. Board is super limited today with only 4 games, but perhaps there is some value. Lee has been lights out and without a loss since May 1st. Phillies are 26-6 in the last 32 meetings in San Diego, and the Padres are battling several injuries and a shaky closer. Giants are 5-1 in Bumgarner's last 6 starts vs. Dodgers, so there's is value at even money. Pablo back in the lineup should help morale during this offensive slump. Most of the Dodgers haven't been able to touch lefties lately, and the Gigantes have two more ready to go in the pen if needed. My only hope is they can ignite some offense vs. Ryu. So far they've tallied 18 hits off him this year in just 12+ innings.

Have to take a big shot knowing the Dodgers are only .500 in Kershaw's starts this year. Number is simply too big for Timmy, just about 40 points higher than he was on the road in Atlanta. Have to feel the Giants put everything out there tonight to try and steal one game in this series. Speaking of Atlanta, I see some nice value in them as a small road favorite. Their bats have woken up the past couple days after being shut out twice, and Mendoza hasn't locked up a win at home in five tries.

Right on joco. Having a great offense doesn't always equate to scoring runs at the Coliseum. The A's pitching staff, mainly Bartolo, has shown us that all year long, and the Cardinals are no different. On paper it looks like a coin flip, but there is definite home field advantage here with the rookie up against the vet.

That shitty Cubs bullpen always burn me it seems, at least Oakland proved to be true last night. Have to take the team with a better starter, bullpen, and more confidence in the Indians today after the scoring explosion from last night. Also like the Yankees to bounce back against the O's while they are slumping offensively. Britton is going to give up runners, just have to hope the Yanks cash them in this time!

Well David Phelps took an express ticket to my shit list yesterday, but I'm still confident he proves to be a reliable starter sooner than later. Sticking with the red hot Tribe today, the Pale Hose don't deserve to be favorites to a winning ball club right now, Sale or no Sale. Giants are struggling, but as a team they average between 4-5 runs per game against Colorado. Don't see them getting silenced again today with Pomeranz who has given up 4+ runs in 6 of his last 10 AAA starts.

Taking a day off is like a breath of fresh air sometimes. It was much needed given my workload yesterday. Looking to start the 2nd half strong today. Starts with a gutsy call on the Astros. Carlos Pena comes back to face his old team and looks to ruin Price's return. Meanwhile, under the radar Bedard has posted a 2.48 ERA in six home starts. Corbin isn't getting enough respect here, but a slumping lineup and a hot Mets team will do that. Still, he has a powerful offense that has done very well against RHP on the road, and could breakout at any moment. I'm biting on this one, Corbin goes for the win to end a drought for Arizona's starting pitching.

Got my ass handed to me last night. It's how you rebound that makes the difference. I hope Scherzer and Garza can do just that for me tonight. Danger of falling in the red since mid-May, but have to like the studs on the mound tonight. Toronto is going to have to be on point tonight, and after the pen working 7+ innings last night, it should be an uphill battle. Only hope is Miggy can make it into the lineup with his back issues. Betting against Oakland at home normally scares the shit out of me, but if there was ever a night, tonight seems like the one.

Milone has scared me a little lately, but Wade Davis scares much more. A's offense has fallen flat, but a change of scenery usually does them good in that situation. Coming off his shortest outing of the season, his mindset can't be very positive right now. Kyle Lohse was the only Brewers starter to throw at least 6 innings in their last 7 game road trip. That's going to leave you with a tired bullpen on the way back home. Time for Wheeler to shine!

Rockies have a full lineup that's finally healthy and Dodgers are resting Puig which is always nice to see when you're going against them. Iwakuma is getting a rough patch discount today against a team he has owned and I feel he's worth every penny as they try to sweep the underachieving Angels. Today I'm chanting "Beat L.A.!
