Can't say I believe that. He looks fine health-wise, I think it's likely he's in his own head and ends up trying too hard to get the guy out. He was so confident before this patch, I think they need to give him a couple of days off and let him clear his head.

I'm sure he'll iron it out, it's just so frustrating to see after a year plus of consistency.

I think Leake has a really good game today and takes advantage of the boondoggle that has to be the Indians' minds right now. Ubaldo had a stretch of really good starts before his last one against Detroit and I believe that will be the beginning of another stretch where he can't hit his spots. The impression he leaves with me is that he had great stuff but not 100% command. He seemed to lose the movement on his fastball the year he was traded and only succeeds when he's really feeling his command. Also the Reds have been smoking while Cleveland is cooling off after the streak they were on where nothing could go wrong.

Chapman went high and tight on Swisher in the 9th. After Swisher stared him down, Chapman through a fastball right at his head. Tom Hamilton who does the radio for the Indians went on a 4 minute plus rant on how Swisher needs to hit a line drive off Chapman's temple to see how it feels. Also said that Chapman "can get away with that in Cuba but not here". Hamilton sounded like a real Jack Ass and demanded retribution. There were rumors that McCalister was going to throw at Votto's head. They drilled Philips on a 2-0 count with first base open - fastball in the 5th. Philips slowly picked up the ball and everyone looked at eachother, then Philips took first. Ump did not warn anyone, but it was pretty clear that was the retaliation. I agree, the Cleveland melt down has started, but tonight could continue something this team does not recover from...the Reds have let the Indians off the hook continuously tonight - we'll see how this one finishes.
