Down a couple of units on the weekend, but nothing too big. Went big on the O's and Jurrjens and took what was almost a 30+ unit week and knocked it down to about 20.

Oh well! My favorite motto about sports betting "it's a marathon, not a sprint". Back at it again today!

Opinions on the Indians/Seattle game? I really see no edge, except for maybe on Seattle now.. If you were forced to bet your entire BR on this game who would you choose? Im guessing Indians since they have been hot?

That game is a complete toss-up. If I saw any value at all I'd put a half-unit on it. I'd only touch it if one of the teams went plus money before first pitch.

My opinion (if it matters) is that Iwakuma is going to have a good outing. Indians bats have been hot, but the Mariners bats have been able to put runs on the board as well.

They got blanked yesterday, and they fight to prevent a sweep today. I'm putting a half unit on the Mariners. You're not seeing too many series sweeps these days...

Out of the 2 early games, I like the Mariners, and I liked the Blue Jays. I only played one of them.... I'll give you one guess which one. FML

Also, since you play a lot of favorites it makes sense to put in bets early, but I see better lines for underdogs consistently later in the day. I think you could have picked up a few units just by betting the favorites earlier in the morning and the underdogs around this time..if not later.

Personally, I like betting on sports but I refuse to let it consume my life which is why I place my bets in the morning and not mess with much after that. I've learned from following you and LT, that it is much more fun and profitable to place bets early and not mess with it. Slowly winning (thanks much to you) is more fun than eventual "betting bankruptcy". Your the man, man! Keep up the good work!

But could you explain why your betting on the Yankees and the Blue Jays? I really liked the Rays here but you've gotten me confused...

Also as a Orioles fan, times have been rough but Miguel Gonzalez usually steps up. I think hes tremendously underrated. Hes one of those guys who very rarely has a rough outing but if he does, it can be bad enough that it affects his numbers. I like the O's on the runline -1.5 at +176. Reasoning behind yanks? Just momentum vs. a slumping team?

I'm a scientist. You're right about betting early vs. later in the day, but if I spent any more time looking at lines and capping games my wife might hang me from our tallest tree. So your second point about "bet it and forget" it is what I usually have to abide by. I still lurk on SBR during the day when I can though.
