Brandon Moreno vs. Joseph Morales Prediction: Expert Picks & Odds for Noche UFC

Morales brings a six-fight winning streak into the Noche UFC co-main event, Brandon Moreno's experience and cleaner striking make the former champion worth backing at even money.

My Brandon Moreno vs. Joseph Morales prediction and Noche UFC betting preview backs Moreno in Saturday's flyweight co-main event at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Ariz.

Morales is a -120 betting favorite with Moreno at +100 on the comeback. The main card is beginning at 5 p.m. ET, streaming on Paramount+.

Morales enters on a six-fight winning streak and has submitted both opponents since his UFC return. Moreno has lost two straight, but his striking volume and far deeper experience against elite flyweights make even money appealing in a three-round fight.

💰 Brandon Moreno vs. Joseph Morales best bet: Moreno by KO or decision (+115)

Moreno by KO or decision gives us plus money while removing the winning method I trust least. Morales has never been submitted as a pro, and Moreno's last submission win came against Deiveson Figueiredo in 2021.

Moreno's cleaner boxing gives him a realistic path to finish if this does not reach the cards. He lands 3.84 significant strikes per minute to Morales' 2.00. The bet also cashes on the decision outcome I expect most often. At +115, I prefer it to laying -370 on Over 2.5 rounds at bet365.

Morales owns the better recent form, winning six straight and submitting both opponents since his UFC return. His eight career submissions make the mat his clearest path, especially after Tatsuro Taira overwhelmed Moreno on the ground in December.

I still prefer Moreno in a three-round fight. He lands 3.84 significant strikes per minute to Morales' 2.00, and he outlanded Amir Albazi 132-63 two fights ago. Moreno's 65% takedown defense and long history against elite grapplers should keep enough exchanges standing. His recent slide is real, but I trust his boxing and experience to bank two rounds.

Prediction: Brandon Moreno to win (+100 via bet365)

💡 How I'm handicapping Brandon Moreno vs. Joseph Morales

I made Moreno a slight pre-odds favorite, so even money makes him worthy of a bigger swing at three units. His striking edge and defensive experience matter more to me than Morales' recent momentum, and I would rather take +100 than chase the heavily juiced distance market.

Moreno by decision gets 1 unit at +160. The 1.5-unit best bet on Moreno by KO or decision at +115 keeps the decision script while adding his striking finish. Total exposure is 5.5 units, all built around Moreno winning.
