Qatar is one of the weakest teams at the World Cup it hosted. They were the first to lose all chances of qualification into the last 16 and looked shaky both against Ecuador (0-2) and Senegal (1-3). When they face the strongest side in Group A they shouldn’t look beyond limiting the proportions of their failure.
The Netherlands doesn’t have the playing dimension they did in the past, but they still seem capable of taking advantage of an opponent with as many liabilities as Qatar.

After their convincing win over Wales (2-0), Iran could confirm qualification with a positive result against USA. It’s highly unlikely that the two teams will sit back and wait for their opponent's mistakes to profit. We should see goals coming at both ends in this highly-anticipated encounter.

Iran are navigating on a wave of confidence thanks to their 2-0 win over Wales. It’s almost as if everyone forgot the 6-2 defeat against England in the first game at the 2022 World Cup. All the focus and energy are now concentrated on the USA clash.
Iran have in-form players and a highly experienced manager in Carlos Queiroz. USA performed better than initially expected in Qatar but judging by the inconsistency that characterized them under Gregg Berhalter, Iran should look to take advantage.
