Rangers vs. Maple Leafs Pick

Rangers-Maple Leafs Under 6

While the Rangers improved their defensive record since early December, they've been especially dominant away. For the entire season, the Blueshirts allowed 2.20 goals against per game on the road, the league's best average.

Rangers goaltender and reigning Vezina Trophy winner Igor Shesterkin has a .931 save percentage with 10.61 Goals Saved Above Expected in 13 road starts this season.

While the Maple Leafs don't have a Vezina Trophy winner in net, Ilya Samsonov will make his fourth straight start in goal for Toronto. Samsonov has been exceptional at Scotiabank Arena, recording a .939 save percentage and 13.27 Goals Saved Above Expected in 14 home matchups.

Even though the Rangers and Leafs both have high-end skilled players that can score, these goalies are playing so well they'll keep this game Under the total.

There's quite an agreement among top-rated sportsbooks when it comes to the total, with the Under price ranging between -120 and -125. There's still more value at DraftKings and BetMGM, priced at -120, but there's not a big variance in this market.

However, it’s worth getting in on the price while the total is still 6. If there's any risk of movement, it would have the total move to 5.5.  Don't be as interested in the total if it shifts that far.
