Monday has a small four-game slate, but there are some good matchups to target with my latest NHL predictions today. The game with the tightest lines is an Eastern Conference tilt between the 1-0 Senators and the 2-1 Bruins.

My top NHL best bet for Monday is between the Flyers and Lightning, as a matchup between two teams with strong goaltending and offenses in pedestrian form points toward limited scoring. I'll also be taking a couple of road team moneyline bets for my final two picks.

💰 NHL best bet today

Flyers vs. Lightning Under 6 (-115 via BetMGM)

It hasn't been a good start to the season for the Flyers. A 0-3 start has seen a total of four goals scored.

Dan Vladar is confirmed in the crease for the Flyers tonight. After a terrible start, Vladar has to be better, facing a Lightning offense that has scored only four total goals in its first two games.

It's been a struggle for both offenses. Vladar and Andrei Vasilevskiy are elite netminders. The Lightning have gone under the goal total line in both of their contests.

Go to BetMGM to bet Under 6 at -115 odds.

📡 SBR Edge: Flyin' Under

The Under has hit in each of the Flyers' last six road games.

Senators moneyline (-115 via bet365)

The Senators look to improve to 2-0 on a road trip to TD Garden to take on the Bruins. Jeremy Swayman and Linus Ullmark, former teammates, are the goaltenders expected for tonight's tilt in Boston.

In the last five head-to-head matchups, the Senators have beaten the Bruins four times. They beat Toronto 3-2 in regulation on the road and have fresher legs than the Bruins, who have already played 3 games in 2026.

Swayman has led the Bruins to both wins. However, I expect the Senators' top 2 attack lines to light the lamp a few times, with Ullmark stuffing Boston in between the pipes.

Go to bet365 to take the Senators' moneyline at -115 odds.

Sharks moneyline (+170 via DraftKings)

The Sharks are a huge value on the road against the Stars tonight. The underdog has won the last six games the Sharks have played, as San Jose enters this game with a 2-0 record, posting overtime wins over the Panthers and Kings.

Dallas' offense was shut out at home in Oettinger's lone start. Now, the red-hot Sharks, led by Macklin Celebrini, look to stay on a heater during their first road game of the new season.

The Stars' offense has scored just one goal in two games played. The Sharks have lit the lamp nine times in two outings.

Go to DraftKings to bet on the Sharks moneyline at +170 odds.
