Connor has been a different player at home, scoring a goal in each of his three games at Canada Life Centre. He scored one in three games at Enterprise Center and was discernibly underwhelming otherwise. The opposite is true in front of Winnipeg's whiteout, where he pocketed seven points in three contests.

He's the one player Winnipeg relies on to conjure pivotal moments consistently. Whether captain Mark Scheifele will play is going to be a game-time decision.

Let's get to the caveat right from the first puck drop. Namestnikov, to grab a point, will turn into a four-star play if Scheifele doesn't play. Namestnikov has three points in the last 1.5 games, ever since being promoted to the first line in his captain's absence. The +155 odds will be even more appealing in that scenario.

If Scheifele suits up, there's no guarantee he'll be playing every shift. Even if he does, Namestnikov should bring some added confidence and swagger to his usual line. In addition, Game 7s are notorious for having unheralded heroes from gritty role players. Namestnikov checks all of those boxes.
