London will host its third and final NFL game of the season on Sunday, and I’m backing Liam Coen’s team in my Texans vs. Jaguars prediction. Kickoff is set for 9:30 a.m. ET, airing on NFL Network.

The Jaguars are the 2.5-point betting favorite for the game at Wembley Stadium. I like the Jaguars to cover the spread for various reasons, which I discuss as part of our NFL Week 6 predictions.

Texans vs. Jaguars prediction & best bet

Jaguars -2.5 (-110 via FanDuel)

The Jaguars have the third-best defensive DVOA and the eighth-best offensive DVOA, and they have won three straight games against teams that were expected to make the playoffs before the season began (Philadelphia, Cincinnati, New England).

The Texans have been much better recently and have the ninth-best defensive DVOA and 11th-best offensive DVOA. While those are solid rankings, I give the Jaguars the edge on both sides of the ball.

I also expect C.J. Stroud to throw his first pick of the season against a Jaguars defence with the joint-second-most interceptions (6).

📡 SBR Edge: Jaguars' defensive advantage

Stroud has been sacked 14 times, tied for the fourth-most. The Jaguars, meanwhile, have the seventh-highest pressure rate (26.8) and sixth-highest knockdown pass percentage (12.4) despite ranking just 17th in blitz percentage (25.3).

Jags’ scheduling advantage

The Jaguars stayed in London after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles with a walk-off field goal last week. They are settled in and acclimatized, whereas the Texans departed for London on Thursday.

While it’s not as bad as the Los Angeles Rams’ travel itinerary for the Australia trip, arriving in London two days before game day should give the Jaguars an advantage. In addition, the Texans played two of the previous three on the road.

The Jags have faced elite competition for four straight weeks, while the Texans’ previous two games were against teams with woeful defenses (Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Titans), so the Jaguars should be more battle-tested.

Score prediction: Jaguars 21, Titans 17
