Baltimore starts a new campaign without John Harbaugh for the first time since 2007, beginning on the road against the Colts. My Ravens vs. Colts prediction dives into why Indy's lengthy losing streak from last season is likely to continue in Week 1 of 2026.
The Ravens are a 3.5-point road betting favorite ahead of Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis (CBS).

Over 47.5 (-115 via DraftKings)
This is the first game of the new Jesse Minter-led Ravens defense. It will take more than one preseason for him to improve a Baltimore unit that ranked 30th in pass defense a year ago.
Speaking of poor secondaries, the Colts were even worse, ranking second-worst in passing yards allowed in 2025.
I doubt we can count either passing attack among the NFL's elite, but the matchup combined with playing in an indoor, fast turf environment will result in plenty of passing yards and scoring on Sunday.
That's why I like this game comfortably exceeding the 47.5-point total being offered at the best sports betting sites, but there's value in backing Over 48.5 if that's all you find available.
🔬 SBR Edge
Colts games at Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium featured an average of 51.4 points last season.
Lamar's legs particularly lethal in Week 1
Lamar Jackson had the worst rushing season of his career in 2025, but he's historically leaned on his ability to scramble in Week 1 matchups. Over his last five season openers, Jackson has averaged 66.6 rushing yards - over 10 above his career average.
That gives him an edge to still lead a productive Ravens unit even if their new offense (directed by first-time play-caller Declan Doyle) faces some early-season hiccups.
Even if it isn't pretty all the way through, Jackson and the Ravens have the tools to start the season 1-0 on the road in Indy.
