Titans moneyline (-118 via FanDuel)
This isn't the sexiest matchup on paper during the first Sunday of the 2026 NFL season. Yet this game has plenty of intriguing storylines, with coaches and players from both teams on opposite sidelines.
2025 No. 1 overall draft pick, QB Cam Ward, now has OC Brian Daboll and first-round rookie WR Carnell Tate beefing up his wide receiving corps. Ward hasn't thrown an interception in 6 straight starts at Nissan Stadium.
The Jets' defense finished 2025 without forcing an interception. This bodes well for the Titans' new-look offense under Ward.
The line has moved down from -3.5 to -1.5 on the Titans. As a result, we're getting good value on the Titans moneyline. Saleh should shore up last year's bottom-tier defense and give Jets QB1 Geno Smith fits in the pocket.
Get the best number on the Titans moneyline on FanDuel at -118 odds.
📡 SBR Edge: Personnel Edge
The Titans have a deeper wide receiving corps, a quarterback with higher upside, and a head coach who has historically elevated defensive units.
Titans' defensive revamp shuts down Jets offense
Expect Saleh and DC Gus Bradley, two veteran defensive minds with proven success, to have a strong game plan against Jets star RB Breece Hall. Hall is coming off a groin injury sustained last month, which is certainly worth noting against a reloaded Titans defensive front that retained star DT Jeffery Simmons.
Smith struggled mightily with the Raiders in 2025, following an unexpected rise to success with the Seahawks. Smith finished 2025 with a 34.1 QBR, logging 17 touchdowns and 19 interceptions.
The Titans will grind out a win to start the Saleh-Daboll era 1-0.
Score prediction: Titans 20, Jets 17
