Playoff hopes and bragging rights are on the line when the Washington Commanders and New York Giants clash in a very meaningful NFC East battle on Sunday. Check out our top Commanders-Giants NFL picks based on the top odds.

Since starting the season 1-4, the Commanders have been one of the hottest teams in football, winning six of their last seven games and moving back into the playoff picture.

It’s been a different story for the Giants. Since starting the season 6-1, they have lost three of their last four games. With a loss this week, they would be in serious danger of missing out on the playoffs altogether.

Here are our Commanders-Giants NFL picks for Week 13 (odds via PointsBet and DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Commanders vs. Giants Odds Analysis

This game opened as a pick ‘em, but with how these two teams have been playing of late plus all the injuries the Giants are facing, the Commanders are now favored by 2.5. Bettors are backing the home team, with over 70% of tickets and cash coming in on the Giants.

The total opened at 42 and dropped all the way to 40.5. Bettors are slightly backing the Over, but just 52% of tickets are leaning that way.

Commanders vs. Giants ATS Pick

Giants +2.5 (-107) ★★★

The Giants’ injuries have led to their struggles of late. However, this feels like a line that is favoring the wrong team. Though the Commanders have won six of seven, four of their six victories have been by less than a touchdown.

Washington was very lucky to escape last week with a victory over the Atlanta Falcons, as the defense needed a late stand to win the game. For the Giants, almost no one was giving them a chance against the Dallas Cowboys, yet they played well despite the final score.

This is going to be a low-scoring, grinding game that should be decided by a field goal or less. It would be nice to get this at the key number, but we think the Giants cover either way.

Commanders vs. Giants O/U Pick

Under 40.5 (-107) ★★★

Only once in their last five games have the Commanders seen a total go Over 40 points. That result came against the high-scoring Philadelphia Eagles.

The Giants’ defense has allowed 27 or more points in their last three losses, but they are about to take on an offense that is averaging just 19.4 points per game. The Commanders don’t have the weapons to blow a team out, and with the Giants still banged up on the offensive and defensive side, they will be more than content to let this one stay low scoring.

This is a low number, but the Commanders have scored more than 20 points just five times all year, and they have faced worse defenses than the Giants'.

Commanders vs. Giants Prop Pick

Barkley Over 18.5 rush attempts (-115) ★★★

Saquon Barkley has been unable to get anything going on the ground in the last two weeks, combing for just 61 yards. A lot of his struggles had to do with the game flow and his lack of rushing attempts. He had just 26 attempts in his last two games combined. Against the Houston Texans three weeks ago, he had 35.

When Barkley rushes for 70 or more yards, the Giants are 7-1 this season. Look for them to force the rushing attack against a team that won’t blow them out. This will give Barkley plenty of rushing opportunities, even if he doesn’t get the yardage needed for an Over.
