Colts vs. Vikings Odds, Picks, Predictions: Minnesota Seeks NFC North Crown

The Minnesota Vikings look to take down the NFC North division crown against the visiting Indianapolis Colts in the first of three games on Saturday of Week 15. Read on for our top Colts-Vikings NFL pick and prediction.
The Vikings (10-3) can clinch the NFC North title with a victory this week, but there’s still reason for concern in the Twin Cities. After losing 34-23 last week to the Detroit Lions, the Vikings are the first team in NFL history to win 10 of their first 13 games despite having a negative point differential on the season, and their defense has allowed the most yards in the league.
Indianapolis has even bigger problems, getting blown out 54-19 by the Dallas Cowboys last time out to fall to 4-8-1 on the season. Quarterback Matt Ryan threw three fourth-quarter interceptions in the loss and has now committed a league-high 18 giveaways.

Colts vs. Vikings Pick
Vikings -4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Vikings may not be as good as their 10-3 record suggests, but they should be favored by more than four points at home against a Colts team playing out the string. Although nine of Minny’s 10 victories this season have come by eight points or fewer, each of the Vikings' last nine victories have come by at least four points, which is all they have to do to cover this low number.
Minnesota’s offense has scored at least 27 points in five of its last six games at U.S. Bank Stadium and has been held under 23 just once at home dating back to last October. Quarterback Kirk Cousins comes into this game with plenty of confidence after throwing for 425 yards in last week’s loss to Detroit, when Justin Jefferson posted a season-high 223 receiving yards.
Yes, it’s hard to trust the Vikings’ defense. But Minnesota has overcome its poor yardage numbers by generating sacks and turnovers, which is precisely what the Colts’ offense has been vulnerable to all year. Indy gave the ball away a whopping five times in its last outing in Dallas and leads the league with 26 giveaways, a big reason the Colts have scored 16 points or fewer in six of their last seven.
