Bo Nix just barely has a winning record on the road since entering the NFL. While the third-year passer is a sterling 16-3 at home, Nix is 10-9 on the road. That includes losing both of his away games against the Chargers at SoFi Stadium.

So while the Chargers are licking their wounds after an 0-4 start, this is a spot for L.A. to compete for its first victory of the season. Justin Herbert will have the chance to finally get his game going in Mike McDaniel's offense, with Denver's top two cornerbacks (Pat Surtain and Riley Moss) banged up and questionable ahead of Sunday's game.

So while the Broncos might sneak out a victory, the spread is too big here. The best sports betting sites are aligned at Chargers +3.5, with DraftKings offering the top value at -112 odds.
