Despite winning four straight and sitting atop the NFC West, the Seattle Seahawks are underdogs for Sunday’s early matchup against the struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers. See who we’re backing in that game as one of our top against the spread NFL picks for Week 10.

The NFL’s first game in Germany is a potential playoff preview as the Seahawks and Buccaneers both sit atop their divisions at the midway point of the season.

Although the Bucs righted their ship last week with a big comeback win over the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle is one of three underdogs we’re backing with our against the spread NFL picks for Week 10 (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook, PointsBet, and BetMGM).

Best Against the Spread NFL Picks For Week 10

Seahawks +2.5 (-105)

The Bucs may have saved their season with last week’s late rally against the Rams, but the team's problems remain. Tampa Bay didn’t score a touchdown until the dying seconds of its 16-13 win over L.A., with most of its 272 passing yards coming on the final drive. The Buccaneers have scored more than 21 points just once all season, and they haven’t covered a spread since mid-September.

Tampa Bay shouldn’t be favorites here against a Seattle squad that's getting better every week after winning and covering four straight and five of its last six. Geno Smith was considered the Seahawks’ most significant weakness coming into the year. But now he leads the NFL in completion percentage and is third in passer rating, and the veteran is even starting to garner MVP talk. Rookie Kenneth Walker and the Seattle rushing attack should also experience success against a Bucs defense allowing more than 125 yards per game on the ground.

Browns +3.5 (-107)

Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, and the Dolphins are putting up huge offensive numbers lately, but they aren’t covering spreads. Miami is 1-2 against the spread during its current three-game winning streak. The team has also covered during just one of its last six contests, largely due to a defense that's given up at least 24 points in five of those games and 27-plus in four.

Miami will face the Browns, who have lost just one game by more than a field goal in 2022. They’re also coming off a bye week, and that rest could help get injured Pro Bowlers Wyatt Teller and Denzel Ward back in the lineup. Teller’s return would further bolster a Cleveland running game that's third in the NFL, while Ward’s presence in the secondary can help the Browns clamp down on Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

Colts +6.5 (-110)

A crazy year in Indianapolis became even crazier when the Colts fired veteran head coach Frank Reich before replacing him with Jeff Saturday, whose only previous coaching experience is overseeing a high school team in Georgia. But while Saturday may not work out long term as Indy’s head coach, his presence could provide a short-term spark for a 3-5-1 team that's still in second place in the AFC South.

However, the biggest reason for this bet is to fade the Las Vegas Raiders, who shouldn't be laying nearly a touchdown against anybody right now. If there were any remaining playoff hopes going into Week 9 in Jacksonville for the Raiders, those dreams died with a 27-20 loss. The Raiders dropped that game even though they led 17-0 and 20-7 before allowing 20 unanswered points.

Even if the Raiders do win on Sunday, seven of their last eight victories have come by four points or fewer. They won't run away with this game either.
