Doncic scores points like he acquires absurd nicknames, especially ones no soul has ever uttered. About as many people call the Mavericks star "El Niño Maravilla" as people do Tom Brady "The Pharaoh."

But call him whatever you want, he put up an NBA-leading 33.9 points during the regular season, and that should carry over against the Clippers.

L.A. is 17th in defensive rating during 2023-24 (115.4), and the team allows the eighth-most points per game to point guards (25.45) and the eighth-most 3-pointers (3.36). Doncic is also playing some of the best basketball of his career, which has put him in the NBA MVP odds race after scoring 33-plus points in 41 of 70 games.

With odds as short as -115, there's a 53.49% implied probability Doncic hits the Over, according to our odds calculator. But the -109 via Caesars leads to a $9.17 profit if he does score at least 33 points.

Paul George Over 32.5 points + rebounds + assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Usually giving yourself a nickname backfires. And while it initially did for Paul George, we're backing "Playoff P" to live up to the hype he created for himself and embrace his alter ego against the Mavericks.

Like the NFL franchise the Mavericks share a city with, it's been a while since Dallas has won anything that matters. And while Jason Kidd's team is favored, its defense - which allows the 11th-most points in the NBA (115.6) - could be an issue against the plethora of All-Stars the Clippers deploy.

James Harden Over 9.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐

This is a bit of a swing, and not just because the odds only imply a 46.73% probability James Harden hits the Over. You never know what version of Harden you're going to get heading into the playoffs, nor if he's logged a wink of sleep. Still, at 34 "The Beard" continues to dazzle as a playmaker.

While he's a reformed free-throw merchant at this point in his career, Harden is still a capable passer and able to rack up assists.
