The Boston Celtics head home after a losing road trip in search of a win against the divisional rival New York Knicks. Check out our Knicks-Celtics NBA picks based on the best NBA odds.

After a three-game road trip that ended in a pair of losses, the Celtics are back at home to face the rival Knicks on Thursday. Boston will still be without guard Marcus Smart after Smart injured his ankle last Saturday. Other than the reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year, this is the healthiest the Celtics have been in over a week. 

The Knicks snapped a four-game skid with a two-point victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, and the team will look to build on that win Thursday. New York is missing big man Mitchell Robinson, but like Boston, this is a relatively healthy roster.

The odds at FanDuel have fluctuated throughout Thursday, rising as high as 9 in the morning before settling back at 8.5 as of mid-afternoon. Through it all, Boston has drawn 56% of the wagers on the spread.

After opening at 226.5, the point total has plummeted to 221.5 via FanDuel. That's with the majority of the betting support siding with the Over as the Under has drawn just 34% of the consensus wagers.

The Knicks are 6-2 to the Over in divisional games, and the team hit the Over in two of its last four contests. The Celtics have hit the Under in four straight and six of their last seven games, and they sport a 14-8-1 record as home favorites. When Boston and New York played each other on November 5, they combined for 251 points.
