The contest is simple. All you have to do is select six teams and/or totals against the spread using the NFL odds and/or college football odds assigned to each, with one being designated as your BEST BET of the week. Remember, five of your picks are worth one unit while your BEST BET is worth two units. Pick either a side, a total, or a combination of both in either college football or the NFL - or both - and you are now eligible to get your share of these cash prizes if you deliver one of the best records at the end of the week.

Week 5 Highlights

For the most part, the teams that were supposed to win did win. But not all of them covered the number and the biggest disappointments had to be New England just easing on by the Texans to claim a 25-22 win but failed to cover as 8-point road chalk. The Vikings were another big favorite that just barely eked out a win when they kicked a field goal with no time remaining, to glide on by the Lions courtesy of a 19-17 victory.

But in the marquee matchup of the week, the Buffalo Bills fired a shot across the league’s bow by beating up the Chiefs in their own playpen, cruising to a 38-20 win and sending the fine folks at Arrowhead Stadium home early – except those Buffalo fans that made the trip.

If you are a college football sharpshooter, then you were either deflated or elated when Alabama got knocked off their lofty perch with a thrilling last-second field goal by Texas A&M’s kicker, Seth Small, to lead his team to the shocking 41-39 victory. It was a great week to watch the college kids go at it as No. 3 Iowa and No. 4 Penn State battled all game long in a 23-20 Hawkeyes win.
