Navy enters this game averaging 376.0 rushing yards per game. However, even after rushing for 246 yards against Florida Atlantic, I can't overlook the defense allowing 38 points in that game.
Though the final score was 38-30, Florida Atlantic led Navy 38-7 with just over one minute remaining in the third quarter. Navy finished the game with drives of 75 yards, 85 yards, and 58 yards. That said, seven of their eight drives before that one went 32 yards or fewer, ending in either a turnover, punt, or missed field goal.
UAB ranks 124th in rush defense, but Florida Atlantic ranks 127th, and Navy still struggled to move the ball against the Owls.

Navy's pass defense stands no chance
Against Florida Atlantic, Navy allowed 386 passing yards and five touchdowns to Caden Veltkamp. Veltkamp finished the game with just five incompletions. This is the same quarterback who threw for just 202 yards and zero touchdowns against FIU last week.
UAB quarterback Ryder Burton has struggled this season. He's thrown for just 478 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing three interceptions. However, I'm expecting him to put together a much better performance against Navy's horrible pass defense, as he threw for at least 200 yards and two touchdowns in his three starts last season.
