The TCU Horned Frogs need only to beat the Iowa State Cyclones to secure an undefeated season. Check out our top Iowa State-TCU college football picks.

Meanwhile, the Cyclones can't obtain bowl eligibility, but they could end their season with a massive victory.

Here are our college football betting picks for the Week 13 matchup between Iowa State and TCU (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Iowa State vs. TCU Odds

Iowa State vs. TCU Odds Analysis

TCU opened as a 10.5-point favorite, and the line has slowly drifted to the key number and even beyond. FanDuel is offering this line at -9.5, while DraftKings, PointsBet, and BetMGM are staying put at -10. A slight majority of bettors are backing the Horned Frogs to cover.

The total opened at 47.5, and it has not moved. A very slight majority of bettors are backing the Over.

Iowa State vs. TCU Picks

  • Spread: Iowa State +10 (-110 via DraftKings)
  • Over/Under: Under 47.5 (-110 via DraftKings)
  • Prop pick: TCU team total Under 29.5 (-113 via FanDuel)

Iowa State vs. TCU ATS Pick

Iowa State +10 (-110) ★★★★

The Horned Frogs have won by a combined eight points in their last two games, and they needed a miracle against the Baylor Bears last week to stay undefeated. The Cyclones may be 4-7,  but they’re not your average below-.500 team.

Iowa State is allowing just 16.5 points per game, and the Cyclones have lost six conference games by less than seven points. They have allowed 30-plus points just one time in conference play, and that was all the way back in September.

The Horned Frogs have won just one conference game by more than 10 points and that was their first Big 12 matchup of the season against Oklahoma. Since then, they have won by 10 three times, and by seven or less four times.

Iowa State vs. TCU O/U Pick

Under 47.5 (-110) ★★★

The Horned Frogs are averaging 39.5 points per game, but they have scored below that average in three consecutive games. With sloppy field conditions expected on Saturday, they are going to have their hands full with the Iowa State defense.

The Cyclones have allowed 20 or more points just four times this season. However, since starting conference play, they have scored 20 or more points just three times. In their last two games, they have scored a combined 24 points.

TCU is allowing 25.5 points per game, but the Cyclones' offense isn’t good enough to take advantage of the defense. This is going to be a low-scoring game much like the one TCU was a part of two weeks ago against the Texas Longhorns.

Iowa State vs. TCU Prop Pick

TCU team total Under 29.5 (-113) ★★★

The Horned Frogs have scored 29 or more points in all but one of their 11 games this season. Yet, this week, they are primed to have their second showing of four touchdowns or less.

With the Big 12 championship game on the horizon, and a 4-7 team on the other side this week, TCU may be looking ahead to next weekend. That is a dangerous spot to be against a defense as good as Iowa State’s. The Cyclones have a top-10 scoring defense in the country, and they have played against good offenses all season.
